Location was perfect for us as we came up to see a show. Theater was conveniently located across the street. It is an easy subway ride to Central Park, though it is walkable too. We did not eat at the restaurants, but we did have cocktails at Rum House and that is a charming bar.

Warning!! DO NOT BOOK A SHUTTLE WITH THE CONCIERGE (it's not part of the hotel even though it's IN the hotel) & if you have problems, THE MANAGER IS RUDE & will not address the issue!! My experience: Our stay was not the problem; it was when we were leaving that everything went sour. We had enjoyed our stay even though we had trouble with the water being warm enough when we showered. The morning of our departure, the shuttle that we had booked through the concierge DID NOT SHOW UP. We asked the gal at reception to check to see if it was coming soon. She called the number the concierge had written on our passes & it came up "out of service"! She was able to obtain the correct phone number via Google & was told by the shuttle company that the concierge had booked them for 5:15 p.m instead of 5:15 a.m.!!! Reception then passed the phone to me. I was told that the shuttle company was unable to send a vehicle right away & we would have had to wait an hour for one. I asked for a refund since we needed to get to the airport quickly. They were very nice & said they would refund our money but we would need to see the concierge to obtain it since we had paid in cash. This is where things turned sour! There was nobody at the concierge desk & we needed to hop into one of the taxis parked outside & get to the airport. We turned to the gal at reception, expecting her to settle this up. She told us they can't help us because the concierge is not part of their hotel. We said RECEPTION told us to go to the concierge desk when we enquired about a shuttle so we felt they should help us now. We said "nobody is at the concierge desk & how are we to obtain our cash refund since we need to leave now?". She said she would get the manager. We went through the same conversation with the manager that we'd had with the reception gal, adding that reception DID NOT tell us when they sent us over to the concierge desk to book the shuttle that it was not a part of their hotel or we would not have booked with them! We asked for our money back from reception suggesting they then settle up later with the concierge. The manager was nasty, refused to help us in any way at all, not even offering an apology which would have been appreciated. He walked away from us while we were speaking to him, completely dismissing us & told us sarcastically to "have a nice day". I won't put my reply to him here. We were LIVID when we left & will NEVER go back to this hotel! It's a shame really as my daughter & I stayed there last October & were happy with our stay so of course that's where I booked to stay again this October. But I won't stay again after being treated like that. Yes, it's in a great location but there are plenty of other hotels in or near Time Square too. Read less

very good welcoming by hanniel, and very good experience in new york city, very well. Breakfast is always good and the bed are really comfy. The hotel is well located, just in times square so easy to go everywhere, and actually you don’t heard the outside noise a lot so that’s good

Pro Tip #1: Don’t stay on the street side of the hotel unless you have earplugs and can sleep through just about anything. Pro Tip #2: Ask for your breakfast vouchers during check in. Pro Tip #3: If you need to have the hotel hold your luggage on your departure date, have cash. If you don’t have cash, tell the front desk to charge your room… Read more
