This is my go to hotel in the time square area it’s close to theatre districts and all the local site seeing. The service at the hotel was fast and friendly. The restaurant and room service food was very good. Only downside is not a lot of lobby seating when you need to kill some time or just get out of the room a bit but space is at a premium in… Read more

This hotel is just 2-5 minutes from Times Square and most of the Broadway theaters. Also, you can access the metro system through an entrance about 20 feet from the front door. Our favorite aspect of our most recent visit was breakfast at The Stinger. This restaurant/bar provides a breakfast buffet each morning. Although the breakfast is $35 per person, we had this included in our stay. The breakfast consist of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, waffles, pancakes, yogurt parfait, dumplings, fresh fruit, cereal, and bread. We were also served coffee and juice. In addition to a wonderful breakfast, the hostess, Ra Ra, was absolutely amazing. Each morning she interacted with our 2 year old. Her kindness helped our daughter to enjoy her breakfast and by the 3rd day our daughter was running downstairs looking for her breakfast friend. Because of the many wonderful people at the Intercontinental, we will continue to return to this hotel when traveling to New York. Read less

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! It is so big for New York City. Times Square in just a few blocks from there. The mini bar in the room is a bit pricey, but it’s New York City, what can you expect... Over all, I love this hotel and would totally recommend staying here.

This is a great property. Clean, nice, great location. However, these people charge you a $30 destination fee just to stay in their hotel. They also don't tell you about it. You'll be glad to know that part of the fee is for laundry service. Yup. You are charged for laundry service even if you are there for a night and have no intention of… Read more

As of what they are charging for their rooms isn't enough, they need to just throw in an extra $30 for fun. Do not stay here. Find another of the numerous places in the Theater District. I will never stay there again. Read less

So on July 13th, we went to the hotel we booked, a hilton garden inn, and was told that someone else was wrongly checked into our room and the guys on duty doesn't know how to resolve the issue and have to send us away. It was 2 am, we went through like a dozen hotels in NYC and all of them told us they were fully booked. We were desparate when we wandered to Intercontinental. It was also completely booked, but the manager John and front desk lady Julie, were so so so compassionate and intend to figure out something for us. Finally they magically emptied a room and added bed there for us. Time was 4 am, and we were prepared to sleep on street if Intercontinental also reject us like the other dozen hotels. Anyway, we must let everyone know how accomodating this hotel is! Plus the room and facility is very fancy too! We decide to always stay here for any other trips to NYC. Read less
