good location apart from vicinity to subway entrance where many homeless and drug dealers converged and had threatening behavior - checked in for 11 nights - luckily asked to see room – room had a non working toilet - receptionist came to check as if we would lie - than changed floor and room - spacious room – comfortable beds – house cleaning had to be told what to do in order to keep the room up to standard – after that it was ok. Reception staff not relaying to guests all the information needed about the various amenities and caused to extra unnecessary charged – including issues with breakfast which we took as apart of our package – also various encounters concerning the supply of water bottles as part of the amenities promised . had to call for a manager in order to put some order in the chaos we encountered, Read less

This will be the 4th time staying in this location with the last being 5 years ago. We were in a room on the 12th floor, mini refurb with newer carpet but that seems all. Room could have done with a deep clean but nothing “worrying”. Reception on arrival wasn’t the warmest of welcome…especially when you compare this to the doormen and the bellhop….an explanation of what was included in the tax and what could be used from the mini bar would have been good. It’s a great location for all things New York but be aware the homeless issue in NYC has seen a dramatic increase and especially around the metro entry at Shake Shack or quite often they would ask for money as you were standing outside waiting on friends or a cab…this didn’t bother me and there’s little the hotel can do but just a note of caution. Starting to feel that the hotel is pushing its price to the limit for what it represents so maybe time to try somewhere different if we head back again next year but for the right price I would definitely use this hotel again. Hotel bedroom very comfortable, we had two large beds, big comfy pillows and a lovely big shower/bath. Delicious breakfast every morning, all great staff serving there but a special big thanks to Leonardo who looked after us extremely well, very hard working guy. The hotel has quite a few floors which must have great views over the city, we were on level 4 but I would think whatever view you have there is always something interesting going on in the streets of New York. We stayed on the 15th floor, we had great views. The room was very clean & comfortable, 2 double beds & modern bathroom. I had read the reviews about it being outdated before we arrived & was a bit concerned but saw no evidence of this. We didn’t eat in the hotel there’s loads of places to eat nearby & there’s a great place across the road for… Read more

Just off Times Square; nice, clean, comfortable room; staff were awesome; easy access to subway; lots of food options nearby. I recommend staying here if you want to be close to things but not too close.
