First time at this hotel and would definitely return here in future as it is in such a central location to everything nearby. Within walking distance to so many attractions, such as Times Square and Broadway.

Stayed here for a business conference for two nights and the location is very solid... Subway stop of A, C, E literally right outside the front door....Rooms are fine, beds are extremely comfortable(!), but bathrooms need some freshening up and the carpets in the rooms and hallways need attention...a solid hotel with a good midtown location but… Read more

We paid over 300 dollars for a room that had chips out of the table crazy crooked lamps that the shades couldnt be fixed. There were disgusting drips snd stains on the walls. When we asked for another room they didnt have anything of ghat size. Just some equally stained room way out of the way down a horribly worn hallway. Stay somewhere else… Read more

I was in room 442. Upon entering, it immediately smelled like mold. I let it go since they did accommodate my request to be near my friend I was traveling with. I was in room 442. Upon entering, it immediately smelled like mold. I let it go since they did accommodate my request to be near my friend I was traveling with. Her room, across the hall, did not smell. My shower had a slow drain so I was always standing in water. The room service tray sat outside my room for a day. My hotel key would not work in the elevator. There is a $34 "resort" fee per day so be aware of that. Our flight home was canceled at 10:40am, when we called down and asked for a noon checkout (so we could call the airlines, etc..) they gave us a very hard time about extending our checkout an hour. We even told them the situation and that we were traveling with kids. We wanted to extend our stay one more night here for convenience sake since we were stuck, but they wouldn't let us keep the same room and they wanted to increase our rate to $379 a night. I couldn't justify the rate since area hotels of the same caliber were asking in the $200 range. We ended up switching hotels for the unexpected night. The rooms are big for NYC standards. Location is great. The best part of this stay was Nick the server in the lobby bar. He was fantastic. Not sure I will stay here again. The hotel feels more like a Holiday Inn vs an Intercontinental. While this hotel is by no means horrible, I think you can find better options for your money in NYC. Read less

I was really disappointed in my stay at the Intercontinental Times Square - I had stayed at the Intercontinental Barclay as a Spire Ambassador member a few weeks beforehand and really enjoyed the experience - But I was severely let down by this hotel. While it does have a excellent location near Times Square - The front desk staff are very hit or miss - Some are friendly and do their job well - Some are rather stern and unaccommodating. I was assigned room 2323 and was very disappointed in the room - There was absolutely no attention to detail in it. While I received four bath towels and two hand towels - I received a single washcloth - I called down to request more, but I stopped at the front desk and requested more, but I never received them. While there were some envelopes left in drawer, there was no pad of paper or pens in the room. The window lets in lots of sounds - I understand that it's New York and it's supposed to be a little noisy - But these windows clearly need replaced. The extra pillow in the closet didn't have a pillowcase on it and worse had several large blood stains. I also did not receive credit on bill for the $20.00 daily food and and beverage credit that is included in the destination fee - While it was corrected quickly after I sent and email, it was another problem that I had to deal with from this stay. I expect more from a Intercontinental properties and was very much disappointed with my stay - I personally would recommend staying at the Barclay a few blocks away - it is a much better experience.
