A really private hotel right by times square. You get to really appreciate everything thats surrounding this hotel. The staff members that work at the hotel are kind and they're willing to help with any issue that you're currently experiencing. You get nice views of the city the higher up you are. A really private hotel right by times square. You get to really appreciate everything thats surrounding this hotel. The staff members that work at the hotel are kind and they're willing to help with any issue that you're currently experiencing. You get nice views of the city the higher up you are. The only issue is the parking lot on W 44th street. It's incredibly expensive and theres always constant traffic on W44th street by the hotel. Read less

The bedding is top-notch and service is overall good. We booked a Twin Double Bed room (due to our 6-yr old) through AMEX and upon check-in was upgraded to a corner room with a King bed and complementary roll-away bed, on occasion of our wedding anniversary. The room was much smaller than expected, but quality of furnishings was quality as expected. I did not expect the traffic and siren noise to be as disturbing as it was for us being as high as the 34th floor. All night long we were intermittently woken by the "woop woop" sirens of local police and ambulance. This may have only been this bad as it was the night before the Thanksgiving Day parade and police were likely clearing the streets and installing barricades. The breakfast buffet was probably the only item to truly critique as needing improvement, it honestly was not on par with other Intercontinental properties I have stayed. The buffet lacked both to-order eggs and fresh salad offerings. The only vegetables on the buffet were a "mixed seasonal vegetables" which had a pervasive bell pepper aroma. They did have a choice of scrambled egg whites or normal scrambled eggs (which were both quality) but having a to-order eggs offering would better justify the $38 dollar price on full breakfast. The mirror in the bathroom is damaged at the bottom by sink. No amenities in the bathroom The corner room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. Amex money disappears at 1 pm on checkout day. You should spend it first upon check in. The location is terrific for theater

Fantastic location excellent. However as a Platinum Ambassador felt second rated and didn’t receive the customer service I have all around the World at IC unfortunately. We stayed on to separate occasions and never received one upgrade. Never received complementary water & had to ask for it & was sent to room . Asked for extra pillows & was not able to get the amount I needed due to hotel being full apparently. Fold out bed in our room for my 20yo son was terrible, like sleeping on the street hard & uncomfortable , requested a overlay and person come up with a blanket to place under the sheet . I’ve been fortunate to travel all over the world & stay at IC , but for the price you pay in New York Time Square, it’s only location your paying. Read less
