This is the best high end hotel in NYC. Everything in my stay was perfect. The room is super spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. The bed was amazing. The shower was great. The room service is the best you can get in NY. And their club lounge is nothing but perfect. The employee AnnMara did a great job in the check in - she is professional and… Read more

The room service is the best you can get in NY. And their club lounge is nothing but perfect. The employee AnnMara did a great job in the check in - she is professional and quick and gave us all the tips we needed. Not to mention her warm welcome. The women in the club lounge are also amazing: Paulette, Blanca and Josie. I will certainly stay again. Highly recommend. Read less

Check in was smooth and efficient and as we booked through British Airways the resort fee’s was already included . The lobby was stunning as was the bar next to it although it was expensive for drinks. Room was on the small side but most NYC hotels are , the bathroom was lovely and the shower was very powerful . Maid service was excellent and all hotel staff acknowledged you when passing. Overall would i book again ? Yes definitely but only if it was on offer Read less

The Barclay has been in NYC since the 20's and as a child my family visited many many times. My last adult stay, I purchased through a consolidator and I received a very tiny room for the one night I needed. This time, I booked directly through the hotel and ended up in a beautiful king renovated room with a fabulous comfortable bed and club access. The club lounge puts out quite a spread for breakfast, their smoked bacon is TO DIE FOR.....perfectly crispy and not greasy......so I at far too much and loved every bite. The location of this hotel is walking distance to many many shops and restaurants and highlights of NYC. I have read many reviews and I can only say that what you pay for is what you get....some of the rooms at the lowest base prices are tiny small......however when you pay a little extra the space becomes plentiful and relaxing. Our room was quiet, efficient with a super bright bathroom which helped me while shaving. There is a NYC Destination fee charged however it included free internet, $25 per day F&B credit and a laundry/dry cleaning allowance. We had many drinks at the beautiful bar as they club did not serve Vodka, only beer and wine. The bartenders Enver and Waiter Maurizio as well as the other Italian bartender (name forgotten....oops) took great care of us. Between the Room, Services and Club Lounge, this hotel was a 5* winner for us. Consider booking a larger room though.....Safe Travels!!! NYC Read less
