We (two parents, one teen) stayed at this hotel for a weekend in May 2022 in a two-queen room on the top floor. The location is perfect for walking or taking the subway anywhere in Manhattan. Driving in and out was easy (for Manhattan) as it's a straight shot to and from the Lincoln Tunnel, and parking at the garage a few doors down was easy and reasonably priced (again, for Manhattan). Our room was surprisingly spacious - I'd call it huge, not just for Manhattan, but for any city. We loved the comfortable beds & bedding, friendly staff, international clientele, even the beautiful blue walls! We heard almost no noise from the street (our room was not on the street side). Other doors closing were quite loud and we could clearly hear neighbors talking in the hall but not in their rooms - fortunately our neighbors came and went at reasonable times so it did not disturb us a bit. Breakfast was grab-and-go fruit and muffins, which was all we needed. I would have loved other tea options. While the rooftop bar was not open for the season yet, the rooftop seating area was, and it is spectacular - even on a foggy weekend the view of the Empire State Building is stunning. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to do so soon! Read less

I’m not sure I’ll stay anywhere else in NYC again! This hotel is perfect. Its location is fabulous, decor is lovely, staff are so helpful and friendly. A special call out to Inna on Reception and Saul at the front desk. Inna went out of her way to make my stay the best. I paid for an upgrade to a King room based on TA reviews and am so glad I did.… Read more

A special call out to Inna on Reception and Saul at the front desk. Inna went out of her way to make my stay the best. I paid for an upgrade to a King room based on TA reviews and am so glad I did. The room was really spacious. You get lots of fresh, soft white towels and lovely products (M&G-I can’t remember how to spell them-Malin & Goetz maybe). The rooftop is so lovely and really does has lovely Empire State views. It’s a no brainier for me to stay here again, I couldn’t fault it. They do charge for packages in advance of your arrival which bugged me pre-stay but once I saw the size of the cloakroom I understood why. Enjoy! Read less

Great views of the Empire State Building from the rooftop bar, even though the bar itself wasn’t open you could still go and sit out there with your own drinks (see photo!). I would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I’m giving 4 stars though as the 2 lifts were so slow and it took forever to get down to the lobby! Read less

Grab and go breakfast was good with muffins, cereal bars and fruit. The rooftop bar was not open but you can take your own drinks out on the rooftop, with great views of the Empire State Building. Location was good, a short walk to Times Square and a subway station at the end of the road. There were some bars up the road which we used. The only downside is that the lifts were really slow and stairs were closed due to some floors being refurbished. Also, don’t get a bottle of bubbly in our room like some others did 😢🤣. Read less
