Lotte New York Palace

Midtown, New York

The hotel

Railroad magnate Henry Villard's 19th-century mansions were combined with a sleek tower to create one of the city's best hotels. It's a place where the staff greet you as if they have known you all their lives, and nothing is too much trouble. The location is one of the best in Manhattan, right in the middle of Midtown, but hidden away in a gated courtyard. There's dining options suited to all at the Lotte New York Palace, from luxury brunch to baked goods, whatever you opt for you'll be in for a treat. Enjoy handmade cocktails in one of Manhattan's most popular bars, Trouble's Trust, or relax in 19th century-style surroundings in Rarities - either make for the perfect post-day-in-the-city tipples.

My husband and I could not be happier with the choice to stay at Lotte NY Palace on our wedding weekend! After being forced to cancel our destination wedding, we decided to do a small, intimate ceremony in Central Park with our immediate families. The Lotte was the PERFECT location for our first look, and the corner suites gave us spacious & photo-friendly shared living space with powder room and kitchenette (completely secluded from a large bedroom and full bathroom). As a bonus, we had beautiful views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and NYC streets. Peter and Miles (among other staff) were an absolute pleasure to work with. Both had excellent communication skills leading up to the big weekend and helped streamline day-of planning. They are true professionals and both contributed immensely in our special day! We will certainly be coming back (if even for a staycation). We love this iconic hotel! Read less

The staff also greeted us and were all very polite and welcoming. Everything in this hotel was above and beyond and we would like to check in the next time we visit. MAURICE is superb!!! 5 STARS! We came to NYC to visit our son and we stayed at the Palace hotel. The hotel is in a perfect spot in the middle of the City. We felt safe from COVID-19 due to the increased sanitation procedures and the overall cleanliness of the hotel, and we applaud management for their efforts. Kal was the best part of our stay with his amazing recommendation for restaurants and museums. He really cares about his guests enjoyment and safety. He has extra masks in case you forget one, and provides excellent customer service. I will definitely come back next time I am in NYC. Read less
