Lotte New York Palace

Midtown, New York

The hotel

Railroad magnate Henry Villard's 19th-century mansions were combined with a sleek tower to create one of the city's best hotels. It's a place where the staff greet you as if they have known you all their lives, and nothing is too much trouble. The location is one of the best in Manhattan, right in the middle of Midtown, but hidden away in a gated courtyard. There's dining options suited to all at the Lotte New York Palace, from luxury brunch to baked goods, whatever you opt for you'll be in for a treat. Enjoy handmade cocktails in one of Manhattan's most popular bars, Trouble's Trust, or relax in 19th century-style surroundings in Rarities - either make for the perfect post-day-in-the-city tipples.

I always choose Lotte when I visit NYC. I get the best prices comparing to the rest hotels of its category, spacious rooms and great service 24 hours a day. In addition the location is great, walking distance from Broadway area, shopping area and Central Park.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lotte Palace Hotel. We were blessed with unexpectedly beautiful January weather and the proximity of the hotel to restaurants, Times Square, and shopping was fantastic. Everyone from the check-in staff, to the housekeeping staff, and especially the bell desk and the concierge were really great - friendly, helpful and so polite. The rooms were enormous by New York City standards, and were very clean and nicely furnished. My only tiny complaint is that there is a very old-fashioned lighting system in each of the rooms that I found difficult to use and clearly out of date. Read less

Our Family has enjoyed another memorable stay at Lotte New York Palace. We always anticipate our stay with great excitement and some sorrow when it is time to leave, yet always storing up more wonderful memories of our home away from home in NYC. The accommodations are always EXTREMELY clean and comfortable and the staff are kind, friendly and proud to provide our every request. The location is ideal and we very rarely need to travel very far from the property wherever our plans have taken us over the years. We are looking forward to returning very soon! So it’s the Lotte New York Palace and you expect it to be good and it was. We stayed in a Cathedral View Room which was nicely spaced for a couple on a short stay. It takes my personal award for Best Pillows and bed of my whole 3& 1/2 week trip as I am short and can’t stand those huge neck cracking pillows, plus the sheets were lovely and soft.… Read more
