Stayed for 2 nights, having booked 3 rooms for 5 of us, for a quick stopover in New York whilst travelling to Jamaica from the UK. Our first time in New York so a little apprehensive on what to expect. I had ready too many negative reviews about airport pick ups from JFK so we took 2 yellow cabs which was very easy and the long queue went quickly. On arrival check in was easy and as all the free bottles of water had been taken the receptionist went out of her way to get us more. Although the rooms were small, they were functional and very clean. Perfect for a short stay. We found the location to be excellent. We did not make use of the roof top bar unfortunately as our daughter is 19 and so not legally able to drink in the USA. The reception organised a very early pick up for us from the hotel (4:30am) to take us back to the airport which was greatly appreciated and the driver was already waiting for us bright and early. It was nice that the reception is manned 24 hours so should there have been an issue I have no doubt it would have been resolved. I expect we will return to Manhattan again at some point in the not too distant future and would not hesitate to stay at the Moxy NYC Times Square again. It was faultless and although I normally have something negative to say, even it is minor, on this occasion I really cannot think of anything to moan about..... Thank you to the Moxy for a lovely stay and hope to see you again - when our daughter is 21 and we can make use of the bar!!!! Read less

Moxy Times Square was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a hotel for both parents and older teens that was convenient to get to a concert but we didn’t have to cab it EVERYWHERE. This hotel has ALL the things! It’s fun and hip without being pretentious, it’s not really IN Times Square (bonus) but a quick walk to Times Square, Bryant Park, and 5th Avenue. Penn Station is a few blocks which let us get to CITI Field easy enough and Madison Square Garden is right there too. The amenities are fun to include the hotel lending out a Polaroid for the day, use of Crunch fitness while you are there, and the BEST bar with nightly DJ who plays amazing music at a level where you can still talk to your friends….heaven…and my favorite….no wait for the elevator. IYKYK and there is NO waiting longer than maybe a minute or two…in NYC with a full hotel…heaven. Would go back for girls weekend or with your special someone as the Magic Hour rooftop bar next door is not to be missed. Do yourself a favor and go…just not when I want to book a stay…😜 Read less

One cannot miss the quirky interior and personality that this hotel offers, aside from the hotel's bar, restaurant, the rooftop and "the stash" along with cafe d'avignon's coffee in the morning is one of my main reasons I will be back! Time Square it self is a few blocks down, but KTOWN and many other amenities are close by away from the chaos of Time Square! Depending on what you're doing, the cabs are closer to the main routes such as FDR so you don't have to sit in traffic for too long :) Will be back soon!! Read less

I’ve walked everywhere I actually need to go. 6th street market, Empire State, Summit on Vanderbilt, Central Park. Etc. Everything. 3. The discounts and credits you get for food and drinks. So thoughtful. 4. You literally don’t have to leave. There are 3 different choices of restaurant/lounges, one of which is a rooftop bar with an amazing view of the Empire State. The food and drinks are good, btw. There’s a beautiful cafe next door with amazing lattes and baked pastries. 5. THE STASH. Each floor has a closet with multiple supplies. So cool. You don’t have to call someone for some toothpaste (I hate having to do that) 6. Oh. My room. I got upgraded to a corner room that have a direct view of 7th street. The sunlight hitting the room. The lights from the big screens. So beautiful. (Yes they have full zero dark blinds and also earplugs if you need) 7. 10/10 experience. I already plan to be back. Read less
