Come out onto 7th Ave. Time Square to the right, Macy's to the left. Easy walking for everywhere including Empire State. Hotel was relaxing after busy days out. Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I'd like to mention just one thing, everything else was good enough: for breakfast could've done with a few veggies / fruits. The only "green" choice was a banana. The orange juice too was just water with orange taste.

Nice hotel, great staff and awesome location with small but very nicely arranged rooms. This hotel has a few nice bars and a rooftop bar/club type atmosphere with great drinks. For a quick weekend I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Moxy Time Square. We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Moxy Time Square. I particularly appreciated the fact that it is only a 3-star hotel but wow, it really went over and beyond what is expected of a 3-star hotel with amazing details and amenities, lots of fun and quirky hotel decor, the Magic Hour rooftop bar was so over-the-top, and the complimentary breakfast and coffee at Egghead was so good. You can't beat the location either! We walked to everything. And when we were jetlagged, we decided to go to Time Square at around 4am because it was so near, and we got to do time square photos with no people but us! With a window view of Empire State Building from our room, and Time Square just literally a few steps away--you just really can't beat that real estate value. And although the rooms are compact, the use of each and every space was ingenious--the shower was incredibly roomy despite the room being compact, and all the leather and black hardware details in the room were super cool. One CON though--the bartender at the 2nd floor should NOT be in the hospitality business. He seemed to hate being there, he was so surly and irritated all the time, and was incredibly unfriendly towards my husband. We are a very quiet Asian couple that just quietly and politely ordered drinks and he scowled at my husband like we did something wrong. To be fair, all the other staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the wait staff at the restaurant, to the doormen at the hotel and bar were all very helpful and nice. It was just that bar guy from the 2nd floor that was so mean. Read less

When you call here you get the idea that you’re coming to a place that’s very different. You’re greeted by a clearly British accent that is way cool. When they finally pick up the phone they say “what’s up? “ So I had an idea before I got here that this was a different kind of place. The room is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. That being said it is very clean, and well appointed. I’m only staying for two nights, and will have an active schedule in New York, so I won’t be spending much time here, and it will do. If I were in town for a week to do sightseeing, with a weeks worth of luggage etc. I don’t think I could stay here. Still a very interesting use of space. Read less
