We stayed at the Hilton to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday. We loved it, amazing location, excellent staff and great room in the 41st floor. Image of the Tripadvisor rating Worst Hilton - can’t use Diamond food and beverage credit!

Terrible hotel, truly one of the worst I’ve stayed at. It’s an absolute madhouse of a place, and desperately needs renovation to the common spaces and especially the rooms. I kid you not, we had an exposed drain in our bathtub, paint peels off the walls in rooms and hallways and flakes off toilets and bathtubs. To add, the “executive lounge”… Read more

I kid you not, we had an exposed drain in our bathtub, paint peels off the walls in rooms and hallways and flakes off toilets and bathtubs. To add, the “executive lounge” benefit at this location precludes the Diamond status food and beverage credit. So they hit you with a mandatory $35 “destination” charge and credit, but you don’t also get to use the Diamond credit benefit. Must avoid! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Expensive hotel with a nasty destination charge of $35.

As others have said, location is the best thing about this hotel. The mandatory daily destination charge is something I have never encountered before, and I have to say the food that is served in the lobby lounge left a lot to be desired and was extremely expensive, so much so, that I only ate there once, preferring to forego the daily charge ( unreasonable and unjustified in my opinion), and eat elsewhere. The selection of beer is poor for a 4-star hotel, and as I say, the least said about the food ( except the breakfast), the better. When signing for the bill in the lobby lounge, service and tax had already been included, but there was a blank space for a tip (?), service charge AND a tip???? The restaurant ( Herb and Kitchen) is only open for breakfast and with the exception of the bacon (dry and overcooked) and scrambled eggs ( from a packet and tasteless) was good and varied and the staff were excellent, always a friendly greeting and plenty of coffee. As far as value for money is concerned, I found it to be extremely expensive and personally, poor value for money. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Centrally located - but lacking some room amenities

Oct 4, 2024 Joan383 Belfast, United Kingdom

The location of this hotel is probably its best feature . The rooms are a good size but a little tired and dated, and they lacked certain amenities such as tea a coffee making facilities. Also for a 4 star Hilton hotel we were disappointed to find that bottled water was not left in our room free of charge.
