Midtown, New York

The hotel

New York's Refinery Hotel provides a stylish and elegant twist within an exceptional Midtown location. This is all about living the high life and you only need to glimpse at the Refinery's décor and exhibition space to know that they take their art as seriously as they take their patrons' comfort. From the incredible views from the rooftop bar to Parker & Quinn's inspired Euro-American gourmet menu, the Refinery enables you to have a fabulously chic experience in the heart of NYC's most fashionable district. The Empire State Building, Bryant Park and the Museum of Modern Art are all right on your doorstep and after a good day's shopping on 5th Avenue there's no better way to kick off your heels than at Winnie's Jazz Lounge with some live music and a cocktail or two to ease you into the evening. Parker & Quinn's Restaurant, the Refinery Rootop and the Hatbox gallery space all offer plenty of options as the sun sets and before you finally retire to your room you'll have one last chance to consider the fitness suite before you cosy into your crisp and comfy queen-size bed.

Upon arrival he was given a gift bag containing cuff links and a candle. The entire hotel is spotless and the rooms are perfect. I feel as if we were treated as if we are the only guests, something you don’t experience at a chain hotel. I can’t wait to come back to this was warm and welcoming hotel. Read less

Refinery Hotel is in the perfect location for all the holiday sites; steps away from the Bryant Park Winter Village and the Macy’s holiday windows. The hotel’s Covid-19 safety precautions from the point of check in to the time we checked out were impeccable and made us feel very safe and at home. Their rooms are so spacious and well-appointed we felt like we were in an artist's loft. We enjoyed the Refinery Rooftop for a delicious outdoor yet heated dinner underneath the glowing Empire State Building. We even saw a couple get engaged there while we dined. Shout out to the entire team for their phenomenal service, we will definitely make this a holiday tradition for years to come. Read less

Lovely boutique hotel in the garment district so very convenient. Loved the look of the hotel and the spacious rooms. The front desk help could not have been any nicer or more accommodating. The rooftop was a charming spot to have a casual dinner so that’s a bonus too.

I lived in NYC and didn't know about this hotel other than for its rooftop restaurant. The rooms are big and comfortable and have a cool aesthetic. Hotel is right off 6th Avenue, near Bryant Park. The rooftop restaurant was nice. The bar downstairs and other restaurant was closed due to COVID. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise and they had a fantastic rate in early December 2020. I would go back again for sure. I usually stay midtown or uptown but this was close to midtown, so no problem. Read less
