The day crew on arrival didn’t notify me that the room they had available for my reservation was located on the second floor with construction crews standing right out front my window. I was concerned of privacy as a woman with several men in front of my window. They were laying down on the scaffolding in front of my window or working. So I called the two girls at the front desk requesting for a room change since this construction was from 7-5pm everyday. I was only there for 2 days so I definitely did not want to expierence this during my stay. The women downstairs said they would look into it but never called me back. So I ended up going downstairs after an hour of waiting (I didn’t unpack my bags or anything) they had a shift change so I shared my request with the two guys downstairs and they were very helpful and understood my concern and got me a different room. They were very lovely and made the rest of the stay a great time.z I did have key issues on 3 separate occasions but they took care of it for me! The hotel was beautiful I’ll stay again in hopes that I get to interact with the second crew for most of my stay! Read less

Had a wonderful stay here that I cannot say enough good things about. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large- the rooftop restaurant has amazing views and it's centrally located so easy to walk to a show at night. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

The Refinery Hotel was a great home base for us exploring colleges in the NYC area. We easily accessed public transportation and were in close proximity to great food and shopping. Highly recommend!
