Deluxe Superior Rooms are located on higher floors with city views, with 1 king-size bed plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Junior Suites feature a separate lounge area with sofa bed, bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, bathrobes and slippers, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Good hotel near Times Square, Breakfast was orderly and the food was typical American fare, sausage, bacon , egg, cakes and waffles. Tables were cleared quickly from an efficient staff. The only thing stopping me giving the hotel 5 stars was the room layout. We travelled with 2 children so wanted 2 beds. The issue was both beds are pushed together, so if you were in the middle and wanted up to the bathroom in the middle of the night you had to butt shuffle off the bed or crawl over the person sleeping on the edge. Why there is no gap is a mystery, design over practicality, you see that all too often in hotels nowadays. No bedside table, wardrobe is just a rail glass doors on bathrooms, did these people ever ask guests what they wanted. Never!!! Read less

Can’t fault anything about this hotel. Great location, immaculately clean and modern and the rooms were spacious with a massive comfortable bed. The breakfast is fine and sets you up for the day without the hassle of having to look for somewhere, you do have to queue but it’s well organised and we never waited more than 10 minutes. The bar has a happy hour 4-8 with a glass of wine for $6 and cocktails for $7/8. We kept the room on for an extra hour and this was only $20 and worked for us. They also booked us a private transfer back to the airport for about the same as a taxi but this gave peace of mind. Arrived approx 18:00 on 6th oct. Location is perfect for Times Square. Checkin fast. Stayed on 41st floor. Great views room was of good size and bathroom was great and good quality. Free use of safe and empty fridge for your own drinks. Happy hour drinks from 4pm until 8pm. They were great value. We didn't take breakfast as was up and out early every day. Average hotel. Stayed here to see the New Year in, decent location for that. Not a great room but very pricey for what it is. Not very clean either! The drinks were way too pricey for what it is as well as the minimal options for food and snacks. Food was not nice at all. And there is no tea or coffee maker in rooms! That is crazy in this day and age as you can o let get it when you go to queue for breakfast. No drinking water either. Riu lets itself down on this location compared to the many I’ve stayed at in other parts of the world. Read less

We have just returned from our 3rd stay at this excellent hotel. The hotel is located only a few steps from Times Square. The staff we encountered were all super friendly and helpful. We had booked directly via RIU and opted not to have the breakfast as the queues tend to be quite long. Check in was a breeze and we were also able to arrange a late checkout (additional cost of $20 per hour). We had requested a high floor room with a view in advance and were provided an excellent room on the 46th floor which had great views. The rooms are all well equipped with everything you could need for a short stay including a mini fridge and iron + ironing board which we found very useful. Overall, this is our top pick for a comfortable stay in Times Square, NYC and we will definitely be returning. Read less
