I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel RIU Plaza in Times Square. The location is really good - just a block from Times Square but far enough away that it’s more quiet. As with all the RIU hotels I’ve stayed at, the breakfast buffet was excellent and they’re very organized. Front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable. The only thing keeping it from a 5-star review is the curious choice to put semi see-through glass between the shower and the bed area, giving people a view of the silhouette of the person showering. Our time at this hotel was great overall. The location is good and the breakfast was delicious. However there were certainly some flaws. The keys/locks on the door and the elevator were terrible. More than half the times they didn’t work and we had troubles getting into our room and also using the elevator. Our shower leaked all over the floor… Read more

This hotel is in the right place!! Easy to go all over New York !! And the hotel it self is just pure bliss! So stylish and clean !! Lovely beds and balcony’s the showers were incredible in the city Riu still manage to make sure you feel you are on a vacation pure bliss

RIU Plaza New York Times Square is centrally located to main attractions, restaurant row, etc. The hotel in general is very nice, comfortable and have nice bar and restaurant on the establishment. Our room displayed a very nice view of the Hudson River from the 23rd floor.
