Terrible hotel. I'm a very loyal Marriott Bonvoy with Titanium Elite benefits and this was the worst Marriott property I have stayed. Our first room had mold down the wall in the bathroom, the second room was equally as dirty as the first. The furniture is worn, dirty and heavily damaged. The shower was covered in mildew/mold, the A/C vents… Read more

Our first room had mold down the wall in the bathroom, the second room was equally as dirty as the first. The furniture is worn, dirty and heavily damaged. The shower was covered in mildew/mold, the A/C vents were caked in dust. The staff really isnt that friendly other than the breakfast staff. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. i’m shocked by the good reviews of this establishment. horrible hotel, indifferent staff, run down, dark, very outdated. some of the electrical outlets didn’t work. friends of ours had to change rooms because of mold issues. i suppose it works if you’re going to the theater , but the area is super-congested and in a not-very-pleasant area of… Read more

The front desk is awful and the staff were very rude . I would not recommend this place to anyone . The rooms were not ready on time and when we came back they made us stand in line for 1 hour after already checking in .. the worst place we have stayed in NY so far .

When we arrived at our room, we immediately noticed the toilet was constantly running. I tried to jiggle the handle and flush it with no success. When we arrived at our room, we immediately noticed the toilet was constantly running. I tried to jiggle the handle and flush it with no success. I had to remove the tank cover each time we used the toilet and reach in to pull up the plunger to flush. On the way to dinner, I called the front desk and told them about the toilet. When we returned several hours later, the toilet did not work still. All night and in the morning I had to reach into the toilet to flush. We also noticed the couch cushion was upside down and the zipper was facing out. Curious, I flipped the cushion over and discovered black mold. I have pictures! I went down for breakfast and shared the toilet and mold story with the morning manager, Amanda. She put me I a new room, which was better and said she was going to add points on to my Marriot Bonvoy account. The points are still not there! I am also a Hilton Honors member and never had an experience like this at their hotels. I canceled my hotel reservation with Marriott for October in NYC because of this bad experience and lack of response. Make this right, Marriott or I will never book at your hotels again. Read less

Rooms are dated. They are not all that clean. They only give you two bottles of water even though you’re titanium elite for life. The staff is not that helpful. There is no lounge at the end of the day, you’re going to pay a lot of money for a dated old dirty room.
