It is an easy walk to Times Square and Rockefeller center, and the subway right outside the hotel providers quick access to midtown east, downtown, and Columbus Circle. There are plenty of good places to get dinner nearby as well. The rooms are small, but functional and the beds are reasonably comfortable. They have fewer TV channels than in some other hotels (no HBO) but in the age of streaming that is less of an issue than it once was. Some rooms have great views, others look into offices across the street. If you have status the concierge lounge is excellent with good breakfast options as well There are also other food options including room service. The fitness center in the basement is exceptional - one of the best i have ever seen at a hotel. The staff is also very friendly and attentive, and they do seem to recognize the "regulars" which isn't something you would expect in such a big hotel. I'd definitely look at staying here again the next time I am in NYC for business. Read less

This hotel has a great location in Mid-Town. Walking distance to many places including central park, times square, and Rockefeller Center. The subway is right next to the hotel too so catching the E train was easy. Nice convenient hotel but the rooms are a little small. Not an issue if you're going to be out and about anyway!

The rooms were small but comfortable and when we return would use this hotel again. Read less

We stayed here for my 40th Birthday, this hotel has an amazing location literally a few minutes walk away from Times Square, Central Park and Broadway. It's perfectly situated for tourists. We were on the 49th floor, which was brilliant as it meant we didn't hear any traffic noise. We did have some noisy neighbours but they soon departed. The room was small and cosy, the bathroom was adequate and dated but perfectly functional. We did have problems with the safe in our room, the batteries kept dying meaning we couldn't access it. We had to keep having security staff come and fix it which was frustrating. But a huge shout out to Mike in the Security Team who was so helpful and a real pleasure to deal with. We found it was well worth paying extra for the club lounge as it meant you got breakfast included and all your soft drinks, it was also a nice place to go to for some down time and to plan your next day without having to spend too much time in your room. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay in NYC. Read less
