Room very dated and quite dusty, toilet flush not working which was reported twice, with one attempt at a failed repair. WiFi in the room extra charge of $15 a day but free in reception! No coffee served after 3pm in the lounge 😮 Free water available at reception, good location, concierge very helpful.

The rooms are a decent size. The location is excellent for getting to places around Manhattan. There is a subway station right next to the hotel. During rush hour I'd recommend taking the subway rather than taxi as it'll much quicker. The shower in my room wasn't working properly. During rush hour I'd recommend taking the subway rather than taxi as it'll much quicker. The shower in my room wasn't working properly. Half the water would come out of the tap and half through the shower head. I reported this to the concierge who made a phone call to "engineering". The problem remained unfixed throughout my stay. Breakfast is expensive for what you get. One option worth considering is going to Fresh & Co. Its about a minutes walk if that. Read less

Stayed here on a short break to New York. The location is ok, but beware the address, it's about a 15/20 walk to Times Square itself. Near Rockerfeller Centre and Central Park. Bar is expensive, but so are all hotel bars. My room, on 21st floor was tired, although shower had been refurbed and was very clean. However it was noisy. I could hear… Read more

Bar is expensive, but so are all hotel bars. My room, on 21st floor was tired, although shower had been refurbed and was very clean. However it was noisy. I could hear traffic etc. At one point I even thought there was a window open. Room was hot, but air conditioning noisy, so sleep deprived. The lobby is smart, but does not reflect the room I had. The real kicker, and a first for me, was that they charge $4 per bag for storing after check out. Not a lot but certainly a surprise and with 5 bags it was $20 I wasn't expecting. Couldn't find a pool either Read less

The hotel is close to all the major midtown NYC attractions like Times Square, the Rockefeller Center and the Central Park - absolutely walking distance. Great food options and exceptional location are the major advantages of a stay here. Otherwise the hotel is just ordinary- relatively small rooms, with just basic amenities. The room service and basic housekeeping was below standards. Just delivering a couple of plates and silverware took 45 mins. Otherwise a decent stay and nothing major to complain about Ps : the hotel does not have a pool.. Read less
