Almost all destinies no longer than 30 min by public transportation and/ or walking, whether it is Brooklyn, Upper Eastside or SoHo. Next time we stay in the States we will certainly look for a Staypineapple Hotel again. We were worried because of the area close to Penn Station. But if you keep your eyes open and don't travel alone, this felt safer than the area around Times Square. Read less

Absolutely the best hotel and hospitality I’ve ever experienced and I stayed just for one night! I will say that upon entering the room I noticed that I didn’t have a coffee maker (the old ones were getting replaced with new Keurig) so I called front desk. The Head Pineapple named Andrew was so kind and professional to request one swiftly! The bed… Read more

The Head Pineapple named Andrew was so kind and professional to request one swiftly! The bed was super comfortable! I don’t know if I was super tired or the bed was just TOO good because my room was facing 36th street NY and I didn’t hear any of the chaos below! I’m definitely coming back and will book again and again! Read less

I had to quickly book a hotel when my flight was cancelled, and found this place randomly. I was just expecting a normal hotel, but this place was so much better! I found all their little touches so cute and fun, to the point where I sent pictures to my family to show them all the fun details. It was such a quick stay, I barely used many of the amenities but will definitely look to stay at another staypineapple again. The staff was kind and helpful, everything was clean, the bed was super comfy, the bubbly water was delicious, everything was excellent. Read less

The hotel is cute. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are small, but well appointed however, we had a major challenge checking in. We had booked a two twin bedroom, and when we got there, all they had was a king size bed.! Even though the website shows the twin bedrooms first, there is only one twin bedroom in the entire hotel in New York City! And their website allows you to book it… But when you get there, you get a room with a king bed that cannot be separated into two twins. Beware they do not have blowup mattresses for rollaway beds to solve the problem so if you need two twin beds, this is not the hotel for you. I will say the staff was exceptionally stressed by trying to solve this for us, and they couldn’t so as a result? We had to purchase another entire hotel room. Again, this is a corporate problem not a Scott problem. The staff themselves were exceptional, but their hands were tied, and I really resented having to purchase another room after being allowed to book and fully pre-pay for a room that does not exist when you arrive at the hotel. Comfortable bed, quiet well insulated room, good ac, updated bathroom. Quality built room, spotlessly clean. Duel duvets were appreciated. Decent amount of storage. Smallish room but this is NYC.
