Small but comfy. Soft beds. A block away from the hustle and bustle. Close to theaters and Madison Square Garden. Convenient, efficient, little extras along the way. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a try for a convenient location.

From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable here. Rooms weren't a bad size for New York, tea/coffee machine, hairdryer, plenty of plugs/USB points. The bed was SO comfortable, large and two duvets which are soft and fluffy as were the pillows. Plenty of storage. Lovely double shower with plenty of hot water. The bed was SO comfortable, large and two duvets which are soft and fluffy as were the pillows. Plenty of storage. Lovely double shower with plenty of hot water. So many quirky touches, lots of yellow pineapple themes, daily free cookies, coffee and water. Maid service when sheets and towels were changed every other day and tea/coffee facilities replenished every 2 days. If you asked you can get extra when you want from reception. Reception is open 24 hrs a day, Luis was so helpful, couldn't do enough. Stored our bags on checking out as we had a late flight. Location is perfect, 5 mins from Penn Station. Take the air train from JFK to Jamaica then the LIRR train to Penn Station. Takes about 25-30 mins and costs about $30 per person. Great location near MSG, Empore State Building and 15 mins stroll to Times Square. Stay at this hotel, you won't get a better value hotel with better service in our opinion. Read less

The room is tiny, but that is to be expected. Location was great and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Everything super clean and coffee in the room along with water - very thankful for it. This isn’t a large property - but that has perks. We never waited long for the elevator and rarely shared it with others. Check in and out was a breeze.… Read more
The room is tiny, but that is to be expected. Location was great and hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Everything super clean and coffee in the room along with water - very thankful for it. This isn’t a large property - but that has perks. We never waited long for the elevator and rarely shared it with others. Check in and out was a breeze. And never had to wait to get answers. The city is loud, not much can be done about that so sleeping in wasn’t really an option - horns and construction across the street started about 7 am. And there isn’t a fan in the bathroom (at least one I could find) and the walls are paper thin - so I found myself turning on water for a minute or two of privacy- but over all for a night or two in the city this place fits the bill and my 12 year old daughter loved it and asked for us to stay there again for our next trip up - we usually get to the city once or twice a year. We ran up for a quick 24 hours to see a concert at Madison square garden and this was a perfect choice. Will stay again. Read less

The rooms were small, which was to be expected, however, had all the amenities you could think of and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. We were about 5 minutes from MSG and a short walk to Time Square. There is also a really great pizza restaurant and a deli at the end of the block. All in all couldn't think of anything that would have worked better for our family! Read less

We love this chain of hotels and the Midtown NYC did not disappoint. Yes, the rooms are tiny but SO fun! And, the charm oozes from every possible place. The location is NOT TO BE BEAT - 7 minute walk from Penn Station and another 10 to theaters. Seriously, did not disappoint.
