Not outstanding (as it has been in the past), but fine. Lukewarm welcome and my room felt a little tired and small. Bed was comfortable and everything worked. A coffee maker (or kettle) would have been nice. I was a little annoyed about the wide range of 'add-ons' to the bill (City Tax - 5.875%, State Tax - 8.875%, NYS Hotel Tax, NYC Local Tax,… Read more

I realise that some of these are probably mandatory, but it leaves a bad taste. Read less

I loved the vibe of this hotel. Live jazz, fun decor and artwork, great seating/meeting areas in the lobby, and the hotel bar (Stayton Room) was great as well. Other NYC hotels I've stayed in--for similar prices--have tiny, basic rooms. My room at the Lexington was spacious, had a large desk, armchair, fridge and even a small table. The bathroom… Read more

The bathroom was cozy, but it had a tub--a huge win in my books. The hotel is within walking distance of Central Park, the 5th Avenue museums, and midtown. I really enjoyed my stay! Read less

One of my favorite hotels in the world. Combines great history, comfortable rooms, great service and location to make for a great nyc hotel. Rooms are comfortable, bar is classy and fun. Service is excellent.

I just completed a weekend stay at The Lexington and had a terrific experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff were courteous and helpful. My Titanium Elite status was recognized at check-in, leading to a room upgrade as well as a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning and drink vouchers. The hotel is located in an ideal location,… Read more

My Titanium Elite status was recognized at check-in, leading to a room upgrade as well as a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning and drink vouchers. The hotel is located in an ideal location, within easy walking distance to a variety of bars, cafes, restaurants, and shops, and public transportation options (Grand Central Terminal is a few blocks away). Highly recommended! Read less

This hotel focuses on it’s history as the one time home of newlyweds Marilyn Monroe & Joe DiMaggio. However, becoming more appealing to their clientele should be more important. The rooms are small as expected, the bed mattress past its useful life and uncomfortable. The Stayton Lounge is a joke. Great selection of alcoholic beverages but only a few food items. Customer Service and knowledge is lacking across the employees. From the front desk who were rushed and lacked the desire to share amenity information with this Platinum Elite Member, to the incompetent Guest Services who messed up on 2 very simple asks for room supplies and were slow to respond. Housekeeping did not re-stock my room completely after any of my 4 nights here. Yes, I was tipping them for a lackluster service. SMH. The doormen made snide comments each time I deferred their offer for Taxi because I had a ride share en route. Lastly, there is a $25 “amenity fee” charged per night, which is a joke. It is only a plot to get you to spend more by utilizing the Stayton or dry cleaning services that are greatly overpriced. Free coffee, hot water, and filtered water in the lobby are nice. Just wish the coffee wasn’t lukewarm 2 mornings at 6:30 AM because it had been sitting since the night. Read less
