I haven’t been able to find a hotel that I really like in this area of the city. The rooms and bathrooms here are tiny. There is no room service and the lobby bar was so packed on a Monday night that there was no opportunity to sit and order food there. The beds are not all that comfortable. The gym in the morning so super packed and every machine was taken and almost every dumbbell as well. The beeping on the street lasted until midnight and started up again at 5 AM. I guess this is typical NYC though! Read less

Stayed recently and let me begin with what was good. The front desk staff was amazingly kind and helpful with every process and request. The bar was hoping and drinks were good, food average but no complaints. Here is where it all fell apart. The rooms were small, dated and a close look a little soiled. The bar was hoping and drinks were good, food average but no complaints. Here is where it all fell apart. The rooms were small, dated and a close look a little soiled. We did not stay on the elite floor but did pay elite prices of $600 a night. I realize it is the Christmas season and it is Manhattan but I would have complained if it was a motel 6 at $79 a night. The bathroom was so tiny you could sit on the toilet and open the front door. Either way even with the fantastic staff, I will not return to this hotel. Read less

We were greeted by friendly staff and were shown to the awesome Norma Jean suite. It’s like a beautiful trip back in time! It also has an amazing balcony with seating. We then experienced the champagne vending machine in the lobby!! The hotel is close to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so we walked there in the morning and got to check that… Read more

The hotel is close to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so we walked there in the morning and got to check that off our life’s bucket list! They also had live music in the evening, and the bar at the Stayton Room had great drinks. A great stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to see NYC. Read less

I have stayed in this neighborhood, but never at the Lexington. I was pleasantly surprised by the sophistication of the place and most particularly happy with the brightness of the room. Brightly painted, two windows, light colors everywhere in the room. There were some design flaws, especially in the positioning of the bathroom door. The heat… Read more

Brightly painted, two windows, light colors everywhere in the room. There were some design flaws, especially in the positioning of the bathroom door. The heat was not great and the blanket was a thin summer blanket. I was very cold and no one responded to my calls. Read less

Hotel was in a great location and I couldn't fault how clean the hotel was. Lovely reception area with homages to Marlyn Monroe and nice seating areas. Arrived after a red eye flight and checked in very efficiently. However, we were given a 40 dollar token of drinks that was given to us. We didn't request this but feeling to tired to question the process took them. We never got around to using them due to a packed weekend in the city. We then found out the vouchers was non-refundable. I wish this had been made clearer and we essentially paid 40 dollars on nothing !! Tried to redeem at the bar only to find it was only open at specific times. I'm sorry but if you force this un-refunable hotel service then at least have it accessible at all hours. I've never heard of restrictions on a bar in a hotel. Back to some positives! The room itself was clean and comfortable to stay in. Bathroom was also very nice with complimentary soap etc. I will finish on another small critisim! The doorman was very rude to me during my stay. He opened the door for every other guest and even said hello to the other guests but never to me. Overall hotel would have gotten more favourable review of me had it not been for the hidden fees that I never got to reep the rewards from. Won't stay again based on this but otherwise very good hotel. Read less
