The view (from our room) was amazing and the location was excellent! I really liked that we were a 5 minute walk from Grand Central terminal, but weren’t in the hustle and bustle of Time Square. There were many little restaurants and cafes in the vicinity; too many to try on our short visit. We definitely plan on returning to NY, and when we do we plan on staying at The Shelburne Sonesta!

It was such a pleasure to stay at this hotel! We received a complementary upgrade celebrating our recent marriage in august. My husband and I enjoyed the view to the empire state! All staff was amazing, but I would like to recognize Stephanie the most. She made our stay very comforting and easy going. Cannot wait to return in the future.

I absolutely loved this hotel, all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to Grand Central Station and also walking distance to Times Square. Overall, I quite liked its location. I would 100% stay here again if I were to visit New York again!

If you don't want to eat in the hotel, there is a great choice of restaurants on 3rd Street ( Jackson Hole for burgers 🍔).
The big draw of the hotel is the rooftop bar, decor is fabulous, and the views are amazing. Would highly recommend.Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special.

I wasn’t happy with my originally booked room. Thankfully Stephanie upgraded me at a reasonable price and I was much more comfortable the rest of my stay. Staff are all friendly. The snacks they have in the lobby level are also great and bellmen were very attentive
