The hotel just opened but does not have a proper bar/lobby area and no real food service. The Burger Joint (which is good) is in the lobby through hidden in a corner. However, it is small (probably 500 square feet). Otherwise, there is a temporary bar set up with bar height tables. The bar is only open for a short period of time and looks very temporary. I have bo doubt this hotel will be nice when completed but for what we paid, we would have stayed elsewhere and waited until this property is finished. Read less

I will stay here again the next time I’m in New York City. Read less

Food was excellent, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. It is off of the main street, so no traffic noise, and it was a peaceful rest. If you are looking for a quaint, quiet, and peaceful hotel, this is the one. There was a bar/lounge that was very nice and provided a good upscale atmosphere. The construction in front of the hotel was a nuisance, but I understand that is often unavoidable. I do wish the gym was 24 hours, but it was not. The hotel was very cozy and provided everything I needed in a decently spacious room. The television is also equipped with a Netflix/Hulu streaming option, which was a major plus for me! Read less

I was excited to stay here since their social media said that the hotel “reopened” on November 1st. I took this to mean that everything would be brand new - I was mistaken. I had just run the NYC Marathon and unpacked the room when the below discoveries were made, so I was in no mood to alert the front desk and switch rooms. When I crawled into bed, I noticed a nickel sized hole in the middle of the bed sheet. Right after I noticed that, a spider crawled across the duvet cover. The TV broadcast in my room continuously glitched by the panes freezing and skipping. The absolutely tiniest mini fridge I have ever seen. It was as wide as an average slice of pizza. The cabinet that the fridge sat in also seemed unfinished (reference attached photo). Lastly, one of the women working in the lobby was extremely unpleasant. She delivered an UberEats order to my room one night and practically rolled her eyes when handing me the food. Upon seeing her the next morning, she rudely redirected me to use a service exit because of the construction going on outside of the lobby. There are much better hotels in the Central Park South area for a similar, or even lesser, cost. Read less

This hotel was recently renovated and a delight to stay in. We came for the NYC marathon and it exceeded our expectations. I had stayed before prior to the renovation, and it was even better this time. The staff were so helpful and gracious. It was refreshing to go somewhere these days and actually have great service.
