We stayed this past weekend for 1 night at the hotel from Saturday to Sunday. When we first arrived the valet named Key (spelling may be wrong) who was very nice and assisting us with our bags and helping get my family settled in our room. Darnell at the front desk was very helpful, and along with his colleagues, were very accommodating to get us into a room even though our room that we requested for early check in wasn’t ready (we were told it would be when I called at 8am). The room was nice, worked out well for our family. Kids loved being up high looking out over the city. Was nice having a corner room, great view. We enjoyed the pool area and restaurant, everyone we encountered was very nice and friendly. However, the service with the staff at the pool and the restaurant were a bit inattentive. At the pool, we were asked to move from one of the pool chairs to accommodate for a reserved guest, which we had no problem doing, we were accommodated with one of the beds, which ultimately did work out for us. But the server seemed to avoid us in order to accommodate the “reserved” guests. And when we did order food and drink, it took nearly 10-15 minutes just to get a drink I ordered. At the restaurant, the server was accommodating to bring us the pancakes as ordered for the kids, but then seemed to ignore us most of the time we were there, never returning to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. It was a bit pricey to stay, like 6 dollars for a coke in the room. But everything else in this world seems to be over priced these days. But overall we had a great experience and plan to return in the future. Read less

Adriano and Oscar served us on the patio and the service was exceptional. We were there on a busy, hot afternoon and the servers were exceptional. The food was also very well done, and accentuated by the phenomenal patio and service.Bravo team!

I live in NYC….heat waves every week so I wanted to just have a pool day so I decided to book a room and hang out at the pool.. check in was pretty simple , I was able to check in early no charge which was great!!!! Went straight to the room to drop my small bag off. Room was small but very modern view was beautiful… I went straight to the pool was told you have to reserve a pool chair on the website and they charged $50 per chair, but for that time no pool chairs was available to be booked but you could still go to the pool even if you didn’t want to reserve the pool chair!!! I had the option of reserving a poor chair between 5pm-8pm and I paid $50 , which to me was ridiculous because I already paid for the room why am I being charged extra to just sit by the pool….meanwhile you had other hotel guest just sitting on chairs when people got up for free because when you pay for a pool chair you get a wrist ban and certain people did not have a wrist ban. The pool is very small…4ft deep…. the problem with the pool is that it’s small so you have adults chilling having a vibe drinking and then you have kids being kids playing splashing jumping in the pool doing a lot so that’s kind of where the issue would be. The hotel was very clean beautiful outside area to chill… the room was also very clean they have a fully stocked mini fridge , of course you have to pay for all those items.. I didn’t try their food or their drinks because I’m a New Yorker I knew it would be over priced so I just ventured outside and got what I wanted to eat! Staff was good I didn’t really have a lot of interaction with them check out went very smoothly.. i stayed on the 9 floor and my view of the Empire State Building was nice. Read less
