The entire staff was warm and friendly. We really enjoyed are stay. The reason we gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was the restaurant. The choices were limited. The breakfast was very expensive and you could only get the buffet breakfast. They ran out of food. The food was not good. There was no omelet station. We got up for seconds and they cleared the table and when we came back all of her drinks were gone. Our waitress was surly. Would not eat there again. Read less

We stayed here for 5 nights, it is in an excellent location in time square. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were huge and really comfy. Breakfast was a bit overpriced but was tasty with lots of choice.

Location: right in the heart of Times Square. Very convenient to theatre, shopping, dining and subway. However, if you are a light sleeper, I was 37 floors up and can still hear the street noise. Lobby: There’s at street level lobby with small sitting area, and main lobby up the escalator which is quiet and spacious with high loft like ceilings. Modern and clean. Feels like an upscale hotel. Resort fee: Hotel charges a $30/day resort fee. I was here for a conference and conference room rate did not have resort fee, which was nice. Room: I booked a deluxe king, hotel was full, I was given an accessible room. The good is that the room is quite spacious by NYC standard. Lots of room even with King bed. Updated and clean. A club chair, a bench and long desk along the wall. Bed is comfy and bedding is high quality. The closet is accessible, meaning the clothing rack is midway down, so anything longer than a suit jacket would drag on the floor. Bathroom: Spacious bathroom. There’s a 3 shelf toiletry stand for your stuff. The bad is the shower doesn’t have any kind of door and a very low threshold, so when you shower, all the water gets the entire bathroom floor quite wet. Also, the shower drain looks like it goes directly into the sewer drain or something, so the bathroom had a musty, funky smell. It’s an interior bathroom, so no windows. I had to go buy an air freshener to put in the bathroom to mask the smell. Breakfast: Hotel has a restaurant in the basement level. As Platinum Elite, free breakfast is included. You get a voucher to access the breakfast buffet. The spread is typical Marriott buffet (hot items: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes) and cold items (fruit, cereal, smoothies, yogurt). Solid but the same every day. I had a nice stay here and would come back to this hotel again. Read less

Centrally located. This is a larger scale hotel. If you want to be in the middle of Times Square, this is a great place to stay. Rooms are nice, and large by NY standards. Staff is friendly. Try to get a room on a higher floor; the views are nice. Room was also quiet.
