Where is it

YOTEL New York is located in the Hell's Kitchen neighbourhood of Manhattan. Transfer time from JFK airport is approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.

The nearest metro/tube to the hotel is Times Square – 42nd Street / Port Authority Bus Terminal which is two blocks east of YOTEL New York on 42nd Street. It is a subway station complex located under Times Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, at the intersection of 42nd Street, Seventh and Eighth Avenues, and Broadway in Midtown Manhattan. The A,C,E lines go through there. 

There is a public garage right next to YOTEL New York. The entrance is at 475 West 41st Street (between Dyer and Tenth Avenue), and parking costs $45 for 24 hours. Note that there is a $10 supplement for SUVs (payable locally and subject to change).

The Green Room 42 is a cabaret club serving food and drinks. Green Fig (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Grab + Go espresso bar serving coffees and beverages to takeaway meals.

YOBOT: The robotic luggage concierge, YOBOT, adds a touch of tech-savvy luxury, offering a hassle-free luggage storage and retrieval service. Contactless check-in via self service stations. WiFi.

We have just come back from New York. We stayed 5 nights and out of those 5, 3 nights we were woken up by a loud constant banging. Was 2am & 5am on those mornings. We complained to reception and they weren’t too bothered and basically said it wasn’t their problem as it was from the building site next door. This noise was so loud it felt like it… Read more

We complained to reception and they weren’t too bothered and basically said it wasn’t their problem as it was from the building site next door. This noise was so loud it felt like it was in the building so we didn’t believe this. We did also record the sound to show reception but again just said it was because of the way our room was. However, for someone to sleep (when it’s quiet) this hotel isn’t bad, good location, rooms could do with updating but when you’re not in them much that doesn’t matter as much. Read less

Hotel is in a great convenient location. Room was very clean but very worn . Bed was amazing. My issue was with being told by employees that there were "Fees" associated with storing bags when in fact there is a sign in another location in the lobby that provides a recommended gratuity for a free service. I am more than happy to tip for good… Read more

I am more than happy to tip for good service but it's unacceptable to be lied to about bogus fees. The main thing in my opinion is that the staff make or in this case break the hotel experience. Comfortable room. You don't really need 500sf to sleep 200m from Times Square. Very friendly staff and good view. Easy to check in at the ciosk. I suggest to speak to the reception for an easy transfer to any airport.

Visited for 3 nights - booked last January in the sale and got an excellent price ! This hotel was a perfect place to get your head down ! Comfortable beds, room is contemporary and extremely clean and just the right size for two of us ! Only 15 mins walk into Times Square and subway, which is really easy to navigate !! I would 100% stay here again - hairdryer is good, shampoo, conditioner and body wash available (however I like my own so brought it with us ) We had access to a water and ice fountain and filled up on water every day which was really handy to stay hydrated ! We stayed at the Yotel during our 4 day trip to New York. Staff were helpful & friendly. Hotel was is a great location for all the main sightseeing spots. Room & landings were a bit tired looking but beds were comfy.
