This hotel is easy to get to, we exited subway at Times Sq. and walked along 42nd St. towards 10th avenue. This hotel does not have a reception instead it had a group of helpful staff in company logo tops who showed how to operate check in machine. We arrived at three minutes to two but the man advised us to wait 3 min as it would accept check in at 1400. So the first big shock $100 per night deposit was not required (we had just arrived from staying Yotel Boston which requires $100 per night ). Second shock we exit lift to discover we are only on 4th floor, are then advised by other customers that we need to go in another lift to our room. On this floor ie 4th floor there is a cafe which offers tea/coffee snacks from 0730. The room is completely devoid of any information. The room itself felt larger and better laid out than our Yotel room in Boston. Be advised we were on the 9th floor and from very early on the housekeeper was chatting on her telephone. We came to the conclusion that maybe she had a room here as we could frequently hear her on the telephone with door open loud TV. Also be advised none of these doors have door closers and everybody seems to take delight in slamming their doors no matter the time of day or night. Next door is a liquor store with delightfull staff. Check out is via the machine in the lobby. Read less

I will never be staying at this hotel again. We left staff know about our horrible experience and were dismissed. I even left a google review so that hopefully a manager would get back to me and all Jorge Tito said was “we left our team know, hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend there” basically in a fee words. HUH? if we are still there why not fix the water/ ice machine on our floor, why not offer us another room? why NOT offer us a partial refund. Does Yotel hotel not have there team go through a training on how to handle guests where there experience is not going well? or how why does yotel hotel not fix these issues before there guest check in? I really expect a partial refund to my stay because of this. We definitely did not get what we paid for. Read less

Multiple things in the room either did not work correctly or did not work at all. Was charged a hidden 'resort fee' at check-in that I'm still upset about. The doors into and out of the ground floor lobby were slow and would stop constantly.

Clean room but very small for 3 adults. No privacy for the bathroom. No breakfast included. (We should have been entitled to it) hotel well located. We had a small fridge.

Better than what we saw after the pandemic. Nice comeback. Rome was nice, the standard that we expected.
