This is a great place to stay as it is directly across from the space needle and MoPop, easy to get to climate pledge. It is just a short walk. It is easy to get to and they have a parking garage both at the hotel and just 2 blocks away at a sister hotel.

We booked this for the location to the Space Needle but next time we’ll probably my book farther outside the downtown area. The staff at the front desk ranged from very sweet to very cold and condescending. There was the bartender at H Bar that reprimanded us for my daughter climbing onto the barstool for a second while I placed our order at the bar. (We had to do that since no one was coming by to take our order). He claimed it’s a rule and she can’t sit in the chair for a second. My child is four years old, and he glared at her like she committed a crime. The guy was just weird, and made us uncomfortable so that was the only night we ate in the hotel. Another day I locked my room and garage key in the room but didn’t realize it until we got to our car. I asked for a new room and garage key and Carlos at the front desk told me he can only give out one, and I could go back upstairs and get my card. His insinuation was that I was, what? Sneaking in cars for free with an extra garage key? I had my four year old with me, and the elevators at this hotel are notoriously slow, so it was frustrating to have to wait and go back up to the 7th floor and then back down to the garage. You pay $45 night to park in the garage just for the front desk to treat you like a criminal. We were late to our appointment as a result, which was frustrating. Breakfast staff was very hardworking and pleasant. Front desk staff was either very nice or very condescending and rude. Bartending staff was creepy. Most disappointing Hyatt house experience so far, so we’ll try a different Hyatt next time in Seattle. Read less

You will not be disappointed with location and service with the Hyatt House Seattle/Downtown. Beautiful views from the eighth floor patio. Breakfast was delightful and varied accommodating many cultures.

While we didn't use it, we checked out the roof top terrace... would definitely have used it if time/weather permitted. My only dislike was the limited number of stalls available in the garage and how small they were. I'd definitely recommend Hyatt House to friends and would stay here again in the future. Read less

This hotel is in the heart of Seattle and is perfect for site seeing. The staff was exceptional. The room was excellent with comfortable sleeping and clean well maintained bathroom, kitchen, and bed. The breakfast had a nice variety of good food. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
