The hotel was in downtown Austin and you were within walking distance of many restaurants. The downside is parking as you have to valet and the cost of Valet overnight is $57.00 and if your conference goes past 3 pm, you have to not only pay the Valet overnight of $57.00 but you also have to pay the Valet daily rate. The hotel did not have hot water on either night of my stay so that was not pleasant for myself nor for the other people who went to conference that I attended. Also, the hotel room had a dirty bathtub when I checked in and the bathtub did not drain well when taking a shower. The positive about this place is the breakfast is included in your stay and the breakfast has a large variety of foods including fresh orange juice included with the price of your stay. The blankets are more like sheets in this hotel and they are not warm at all so if you get cold, make sure you ask for a lot of blankets as these are basically glorifed sheets.

With SpotHero I found a garage four blocks away where the total charge was $95! And, the SpotHero deal allowed for in-and-out privileges—something that I understand is not normally allowed in that garage at 140 West Cesar Chavez St.

Quick Short Honeymoon Getaway

The hotel is in a perfect location. Walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment. The only negative is valet parking. Majority of the hotels in the Downtown Austin area only offer valet and it's per day. If your not anticipating an additional $100 plus dollars I would look for another Hyatt property just outside of Downtown.

The room was great, everything seemed new, room/bathrooms were very clean. Hotel staff was amazing and very helpful. Only thing if any we had an issue with was just the water pressure in the shower. Other than that, the hotel it self was an amazing find and value for it being a big game weekend.
