The hotel

If you’re wandering through the central business district, you won’t be able to miss the Fairmont Austin, it’s 37-storey building being a towering icon set amid lush green surroundings. This makes for fantastic views from all room types, particularly with the floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooking the dramatic cityscape and the Lady Bird Lake. The 7th floor terrace plays host to the spacious pool with cabanas and poolside bar and restaurant, all with a city centre backdrop. Fairmont rooms are situated on floors 8-24, with city or lake views, and either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.
Deluxe rooms are located on floors 25-31, with city or lake views, and either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Signature Corner rooms are located on floors 8-31, with sweeping views of the city skyline and a separate shower and soaking tub. These rooms have either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Fairmont Gold Rooms are located on floors 32-35 and include access to the Fairmont Gold Lounge which provides complimentary breakfast, canapes and evening desserts, as well as private concierge. These rooms have city or lake views, and either 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.


Self parking $36 per day, Valet parking $49 per day (payable locally, fees subject to change).

We had a wonderful time staying at your beautiful hotel. The rooms were spacious with all the amenities and beautiful. The lounge was great and inviting. The hotel was walking distance from several events we went to. Everyone was so courteous and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Great pool service, pool area is kept clean and tidy and had a great atmosphere. Hotel lobby bar could probably do with a refurbishment and was looking a little tired in places. Rooms are modern, clean, well maintained and Le Labo products in bathrooms which was a nice touch. Although self parking is expensive, car park felt safe and it was easily accessed from the hotel lobby. Overall a really good stay and would recommend. Read less

I stayed at the Fairmont Hotel Austin for a Sophos event and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The environment is extremely clean, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the event area is excellent. The pool is also very nice, and the hotel’s location is perfect. However, I would like to highlight a point of attention regarding the valet service. Upon arrival, I parked the car to unload my luggage and informed them that I would leave in less than 15 minutes. The valet staff did not react well to this, showing some lack of preparation. I believe this treatment by one valet individual does not reflect the quality of the other services and staff at the hotel, but it is something to consider, especially since it was my first contact with the hotel. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I recommend the Fairmont Hotel Austin for those seeking comfort and quality. Read less
