We stayed during a busy time over July 4 weekend from Friday to Monday. We stayed on the Gold Level and enjoyed wonderful food and service in the Gold Lounge, especially with great service from Concierge Miguel, and server Andrea Noguiera Augustino. They really made our trip special. Other staff that really welcomed us were Elizabeth in the Fulton bar, and Kimberly at the pool. Pool was crowed but we lucked out getting a daybed on one of our days. We enjoyed all the food and drinks and could have made it through the entire weekend without leaving the resort. Only downfall was my car..I left with valet when we arrived, and when we checked out, the moment I put my foot on the brake to start the car, there was a hole in the gas line and liquid sprayed out. I had not even started it. No one mentioned anything about failing brakes or the issue except people standing at podium saw the spray and let me know. This extra $400 repair is the only reason this is not a 5 star review. There was no issue with my brake when I left the car, but immediately upon return there is... Read less

The Gold Experience was great. I was hoping for more options for lunch and dinner snacks. The dessert bar only lasts for an hour. Breakfast was so good. Make sure you get to the pool early on weekends to get a spot!

Hotel is one of the new ones together with JW that have opened recently spurred by the insane growth of the city. Since wife had already stayed at JW decided to give this place a try. Mixed experience. Room was spacious but poorly insulated, bathroom had a walk in shower and separate toilet area. Service was decent. Restaurants were overpriced as was to be expected. $52 per night to valet park the car. $44 for self parking. $60 for 2 drinks by the pool. My biggest problem with this hotel and many others in TX was not the service or the size of the room it was a total lack of space by the pool. The pool facilities here as well as at JW are absolutely not built out to accommodate the number of guests during major holidays. By 9.30 AM there was absolutely no space by the pool, there were no lounges available, no shade and no space in the pool to enjoy yourself. Somehow we have never had this problem in Mexico but in the US it happens quite often. Other than that the hotel was ok. Read less

MY girlfriend and I came out to RULES and REGs to support our friend that was DJing Sunday evening and the bartender JAY SAUCCDA was amazing! Best cocktails I've had in a while!! Super friendly and knowledgeable, would recommend and ask for Jay! PS. The DJ was playing great house tunes which set a really enjoyable environment.
