Hyatt Place San Antonio Riverwalk

San Antonio, Texas

The hotel

Enjoy Hyatt’s renowned level of comfort as well as a terrific riverside location, close to the heart of the action! There’s plenty to immerse yourself in but when you want to simply relax, head back to the hotel and stake your place by the poolside, soaking up the Texan sun. Eats-wise you’re in luck, a complimentary hot breakfast ensures each day gets off to the best start possible. There’s also a 24/7 gallery menu so don’t worry about hunger striking at an awkward time, plus a coffee to cocktails bar, which sounds just about perfect to us! For gourmet or more formal dining, you’ll be spoilt for choice with plenty of options in the immediate vicinity, including El Mercado, a traditional Mexican market boasting food and craft vendors as well as some pretty lively entertainment.

The hotel was clean, convenient, and has easy access to the Riverwalk and the King Williams area. I stayed the first saturday of Spring Break and felt the breakfast was over crowded and the seating to eat downstairs was limited. The overflow seating was in a converted business conference room with office tables to sit and eat. They did have a high chair for my youngest to eat at the table. I stayed in a king with a sofa/bed pull out. It was a spacious room with a great view of the Riverwalk. I would stay again. Read less

Good service in reciption desk, but need to improve service in: 1) Houskeeping 2) Laundry service. 3) In the meanwhile, it will be more convenient if there is better service in lunch and dinner. 4) For the breakfast, it will be better if there is some change day by day. F

This 3 star hotel gave 5 star service and made our stay very enjoyable. Buffet breakfast was keep hot and was replenished rapidly. The staff was friendly and very responsive to requests for information and recommendations on restaurants; sight seeing tips, lesser known attractions, like the Domuseum.

The Hyatt Regency is in the middle of the the riverwalk. This hotel is not. Was confused with the names. This is an older hotel, but had lovely seating area separated from the beds. Very enjoyable. Great staff, delicious breakfast.
