The hotel

There’s plenty to immerse yourself in but when you want to simply relax, head back to the hotel and stake your place by the poolside, soaking up the Texan sun. Very pleased with the accommodations. We held a business meeting at the hotel and the hotel and staff were very accommodating. I highly recommend the hotel. It is not on the busy end of the riverwalk, but in short distance to the main buzz of the riverwalk.

Arrived by car from Houston, hotel was easy to find with Sat Nav, when we arrived we realised that a major refurbishment was in full swing at the hotel, the restaurant facility didnt appear to be available, the construction work was intrusive with little demarcation between building works and guest areas, we would have stayed in another hotel if we had been made aware of the works. That said hotel is on the quiet end of the river walk, 5 -7 minutes to the busy area, Breakfast area looked temporary and limited due to the works, we ate out before walking to the Alamo from the hotel which only took 10-15 minutes. The room was a nice sized room. The shower was dated. I kept finding screws on the floor. The water in the shower barely worked. It took 10 minutes just to warm up the water.
