The hotel

Named for the mysterious woman who influenced the Battle of the Alamo, this 1920s structure is steeped in history. For almost 40 years, the Emily Morgan San Antonio has been delivering exceptional service to its guests, in a unique central location just steps from the Alamo Mission itself. Although the property is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, with its gothic-revival inspired tower standing proud, the amenities inside are all contemporary; comfortable beds and modern features can be found in all guest rooms, and the in-house restaurant, Oro, serves up Southwestern fare amongst sophisticated decor and dramatic views.

This was a great way to spend our anniversary. The hotel staff is on a whole other level. They are amazing and I cannot stress that enough. The rooms are spacious and and modern with a nice cozy feel. The bathroom has nice large tubs waiting to soothe you before you head over to the cozy beds. It’s so hard to find a bed that is so comfy when away from home but theirs is amazing. The history of the hotel is also interesting as well as the bonus of being haunted. Quick, friendly and attentive staff at check in and check out. Helpful service with our luggage . The valet was the best and fastest it’s ever been.Thank you Jay M & Randy for helping us have a pleasant stay.

If you’re visiting the Alamo and Riverwalk you are right on top of both. The neighborhood is very safe and fun to walk around.
