The hotel

Named for the mysterious woman who influenced the Battle of the Alamo, this 1920s structure is steeped in history. For almost 40 years, the Emily Morgan San Antonio has been delivering exceptional service to its guests, in a unique central location just steps from the Alamo Mission itself. Although the property is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, with its gothic-revival inspired tower standing proud, the amenities inside are all contemporary; comfortable beds and modern features can be found in all guest rooms, and the in-house restaurant, Oro, serves up Southwestern fare amongst sophisticated decor and dramatic views.

Older hotel across from the Alamo. Very nice staff. I had a nice spacious room that was nice upgrade. Very accommodating front desk since i was there training a new person. Wonderful service at this hotel. Especially Jay M / IsaiH in Valet, Phil at the front desk and Monica at the bar. All were super helpful and friendly. Including helping us with our luggage, getting our van quickly, giving out cookies, making local recommendations. My 15 passenger van was well taken care of in valet parking. Thank you everyone!

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and spooky., which we loved. Loved the history of the hotel. Amazing view of the Alamo and San Antonio. Thank you to the staff especially Monica in the bar, Phill at front desk and Jay M & Isaih, the Valets who took care of our van & wild crew.

Loved the warm cookies and bottle of water when we checked in. Valet service was nice and convenient. Right across from the Alamo and short walk to the river walk and the Brisco Western Art Muesum. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the stay. Would stay there again.

Jay M and Isain truly took care of me, my kids and our car. Friendly, patient and beyond helpful, brought our car before we stepped out of the hotel. Greeted us inside, walked and helped with our stuff. Definitely staying here again! Thank you
