Liked this place a lot, but be warned, Duke's restaurant does not serve booze! After a long day driving and staying at Desert Rose, Went to Dukes restaurant and I was informed that they did not have enough servers to let the two of us have a seat. After 20 minutes, we were able to get to a table. Be warned there is no bar here! Very lovely… Read more

We had previously booked a room in a small town north of your place (after visiting the Arches National Park and were so disappointed in the place and had no restaurants open within 40 miles, that we turned our key in and left. We drove about 40 miles south and found your place. What a welcome surprise. Beautiful place, extremely clean with all the amenities you could ask for. We give you a 10 out of 10. One question I have, you had the wonderful breakfast in the morning and one of the items was small fruit cut up with some kind of pudding or tapioca, not sure what it is, but delicious, would like to know what this was. We had a 2 queen room in the newer building. The beds were VERY comfortable (first good night’s sleep in over a week). Both the room and the bathroom were a lovely size and we even had a small patio to watch the sunset! The indoor pool was large with a view of the hills behind the hotel. The resort advertises as affordable luxury which sums this place up exactly. We stayed at much worse hotels on this trip for the same cost. I highly recommend staying here to explore the region around monument valley and four corners, and hope I can return here in the future. Read less

Check in at this resort was quick and easy. The front desk staff were professional and friendly. They explained the layout of the hotel and offered food suggestions from the local restaurants. There is a laundry on site and a full load takes about 70 minutes to wash and dry. The front desk will give you up to $10 in quarters at a time if you ask.… Read more

There is a laundry on site and a full load takes about 70 minutes to wash and dry. The front desk will give you up to $10 in quarters at a time if you ask. We booked a cabin because we were traveling with one child and two teenagers. The boys had the double beds and our daughter took the couch. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. You can tell they put effort into their design. I didn't get pictures of the living area or kitchen because the kids had already covered the furniture with their blankets. The bathroom is Jack and Jill and the shower was amazing! Plenty of water pressure and the temperature was perfect. They also provide more than enough soaps and shampoo. They serviced our cabin while we were gone the next day, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. The pool was cold and the hot tub was a warm welcome. The gym is on the small side. The equipment is top notch and works as expected. The views are amazing! You can tell they care about their landscaping! We chose to eat at their local restaurant: Duke's. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was even friendlier than the front desk staff! The burgers were amazing and the cheesecake - perfection! My only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattress on the queen bed. It wasn't the most comfortable mattress to sleep on. I would definitely recommend this resort! Read less

I was ready to give this hotel 5 stars because of paying extra for beautiful rooms in the new building, the large saltwater swimming pool and great dining experience at Duke’s, until the morning. Without warning or apology, there’s no water for toilets, showering or drinking. Spoke to several members of staff who were unhelpful & ended up leaving early to use toilets in nearby gas station. Just a little explanation or sympathy would have gone a long way to ease the situation. Read less
