Just simple, next to Monument Valley hotel for one night. Everything was ok. Clean, quiet area, nice breakfast menu and location next to highlight of UTAH ( monument Valley ). Price should be 15-20$ lower. Its that because of the limited hotels in the area.

If you are looking for an intermediate location between Mesa Verde N.P. and Grand Canyon N.P. south rim this facility is clean and well maintained. The only reason I didn't score this a 4 was the lack of a jacuzzi tub at the pool area. The restaurant was convenient. There is not much choice in Kayenta. Great value for Monument Valley which is worth a day. Read less

My husband and I stayed at Kayenta Monument Valley Inn on a Wednesday night in May. The hotel was expensive for what we got but we did not have many choices in the area. We paid $143.10 for a king bed (room) that would have cost about half that in a more populated area. The bedroom and bath was large, the furniture was nice, the bed was average comfort, the front desk staff was friendly, the room appeared clean and my room was quiet. There was a coffee maker and 6 single coffee packets. My husband loves coffee so he loved that. We had a room on the second floor (top) in the back that had a nice view of the mountains. The windows were large (corner of the room to the other corner) and started about two feet from the floor. The middle 3 foot wide window could be slid all the way open and there was no screen. We could not lock the large window. I had some fear of a break in. Also, someone could fall out of the window if left open. There were only 2 pillows on the king bed. We prefer 4 pillows which is becoming the norm. We had a large flat screen TV but the clarity was not that great. There was no microwave and no refrigerator. They did not have a compliment breakfast. They had a restaurant at the hotel and there were a few restaurants within a block. The toilet paper was very very thin. There was no light switch at the room door so we had to walk in the dark to turn on a light. Read less

Stayed one night in order to see Monument Valley. Comfy room but no fridge, which we could have done with to store our picnic food. In the middle of a Navajo reservation area so no alcohol on sale in hotel or shops. Smuggle in your own!! But ice is available. In the middle of a Navajo reservation area so no alcohol on sale in hotel or shops. Smuggle in your own!! But ice is available. Restaurant disappointing - we ordered medium rare steak and it arrived 40 mins later very well done. If we hadn't been so hungry by then we'd certainly have sent it back but feared another long wait. Only got a 20% discount when we complained. Overpriced for lousy cuisine, but they get away with it as hardly anything else around. Breakfast buffet acceptable, but again overpriced for the limited selection. Adequate wifi in rooms, which was a pleasant surprise in such an out-of-the-way location. Staff pleasant enough, but probably no discretion to change any of above issues! Read less
