We were driving back from California and needed a place to rest. There are only 3 places to stay in Kayenta. Hampton Inn was fully booked and Wether Inn was closed. So we had no choice but to go to MV inn. The online advertised price was more expensive than the one we got. The front desk person was very prompt. He asked if what floor we wanted.… Read more

So we had no choice but to go to MV inn. The online advertised price was more expensive than the one we got. The front desk person was very prompt. He asked if what floor we wanted. Upon entering the room, it was clean and spacious. The bathroom was big too. You have to pay for breakfast here. But there’s a McDonald’s and Burger King nearby. Read less

We toured from Las Vegas thru the mountains for 5 nights. This was the most expensive place on our trip with the least amenities. Unhelpful desk person. Put us way out in the old annex. No light to see to open the outside door. Slanted floor, Smelled so bad of smoke. Only 2 pillows for a king. Catered to bus tours, very crowded, Breakfast for… Read more

No light to see to open the outside door. Slanted floor, Smelled so bad of smoke. Only 2 pillows for a king. Catered to bus tours, very crowded, Breakfast for purchase only, no microwave or frig, being on the road that was important for us. Oh yes it's on the reservation so don't expect a craft brewery or even a glass of wine with dinner. Did I mention the maid knocked on the door at 8:30 to clean the room! Avoid this place. Read less

We had a large room with two queen beds on the ground floor. It was clean and acceptable, but nothing special. Our breakfast was included but the dining room was packed (the motel seems to be popular with bus tours) and the staff was so slow to replenish the buffet all we were able to get was some coffee and yogurts. Good location for trips to… Read more

Good location for trips to Monument Valley, but we prefer the Hampton Inn where we have stayed previously and will again. Read less

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel whilst we explored Monument Valley (amazing) and surrounding areas. My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel whilst we explored Monument Valley (amazing) and surrounding areas. It is pretty well situated, but still a 20 mile or so drive from Monument Valley itself (there are very limited lodging options at Monument Valley apart from Goulding's Lodge which is enviously situated but busy and pricey) and ~70 miles from Canyon de Chelly (definitely worth a trip - spectacular). Our room was absolutely fine for our needs, being clean with a comfortable bed and good sleep quality due to low noise from outside or inside the hotel. Wi-fi was a bit hit and miss but that may be due to local conditions/connectivity (we had no mobile signal). There is an outside pool which looked OK but we didn't use as the weather was unseasonably cool. As there are limited dining options in Kayenta, we chose to take breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was perfectly OK, but not very inspiring. Portion sizes were huge! Service at the restaurant, and at the hotel in general, was a bit 'relaxed' - staff would do things in their own time. Overall a decent stay, but slightly pricey we thought. Read less

We had been to Monument Valley and stayed her over night, It was older, but it was very nice and kept up. It was a little hidden but We found it on the South side of the East / West highway. I would stay there again,
