Tried to book the Hampton Inn where we have stayed before and liked quite a bit, but it was full, so.... The Monument Valley Inn appears to be older and a little tired, but it was clean. All-in-all a very unremarkable place, except there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Bummer! Priced a little higher than the value delivered,… Read more

All-in-all a very unremarkable place, except there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Bummer! Priced a little higher than the value delivered, but if you are going to Monument Valley (and most definitely do go), this place is fairly close. The restaurant on site presents a choice - a buffet for $11.00 or a full menu. My wife did he buffet and I ordered an omelette for $9.00. Both were fine and beverages were included in the price. I'd stay here again, although I would recommend the Hampton Inn if it is available. Read less

I was hesitant to book a room but it was my only choice. Front desk rude and the restaurant was never. The rooms were okay except there's no refrigerator or microwave. There's no excuse for that as well as not having free breakfast. Not even coffee and donuts. If it's not full spring for the Hampton. A lot nicer although it is more expensive

This hotel is very well-kept up and have great views. There is a restaurant on site which has a great breakfast. It’s only about 25 minutes from Monument Valley. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. The rooms have no refrigerators ..

Upon check in, we were curious about the hotel amenities and found out that the in-house restaurant was closed, except for breakfast. The gift shop was closed. The pool was closed. The ice machines didn’t work. We had booked a king room, but were told they didn’t have one available because of a maintenance problem and were offered a room with two double beds...not queens, doubles. After a bit of complaining, we were offered a king handicapped room which we took. Turned out to be a sub-par room in a sub-par hotel and a pretty creepy experience to boot. The hotel has 160 rooms, but we were the only guests apparently. The parking lot was completely empty when we checked in and when we checked out. Weird! Limited choices in the area and we didn’t book far enough in advance to get something else Read less

We were driving back from California and needed a place to rest. There are only 3 places to stay in Kayenta. Hampton Inn was fully booked and Wether Inn was closed. So we had no choice but to go to MV inn. The online advertised price was more expensive than the one we got. The front desk person was very prompt. He asked if what floor we wanted.… Read more

So we had no choice but to go to MV inn. The online advertised price was more expensive than the one we got. The front desk person was very prompt. He asked if what floor we wanted. Upon entering the room, it was clean and spacious. The bathroom was big too. You have to pay for breakfast here. But there’s a McDonald’s and Burger King nearby. Read less
