Where is it

At the base of Canyons Village at Park City, a leading ski and snowboard resort with more than 7,300 skiable areas, more than 140 ski runs, 38 lifts, 7 terrain parks, 14 bowls, 6 natural half pipes, 1 super pipe, 1 mini pipe, and ski instructors. The area’s summer activities include horse riding, golf, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and mountain biking. The hotel is 3.9 miles from the Main Street and 1.9 miles from Utah Olympic Park. Transfer time to Salt Lake City airport: 40 minutes.

I was disappointed that the hotel didn’t offer any sort of refund or compensation. They said that the weather is not in their control which I completely understand but they were doing work the whole time we were there, and the surrounding buildings all had power. The staff walked into our room in the morning waking us. Knocking and walking in at the same time. They didn’t even wait for a response before walking in. They told us that they were scheduled to fix the Wi-Fi but the whole building has its own internet. None of the rooms have their own routers. Read less

We went on a mountain hike that was great. I cannot complain about anything. Excellent resort in the middle of The Canyons Ski Village. I was particularly impressed with the activities Director and the rest of the activities department. They made me feel right at home although I was in a different state compared to where I lived. They suggested activities that I found exciting and made me laugh. I played ping-pong with the entire staff. I love playing bingo for prizes and learn the Eastern Art of chi gong ( probably misspelled). We painted rock art, made funky bracelet's and just got to know each other. It made me feel good to be a stranger in the state and felt like I lived here for two years. I played tennis on a great tennis court, checked out pickle ball and had a great time playing pickle ball and swam to my heart’s content. This activities department is a great one. Read less

My stay at Westgate Park City was such a pleasant getaway for the week. I found a real sense of home away from home from the studio room to the valet guys, the front desk service, and the activities planned for all the guests. I participated at a couple socials put together by the activities department and did a few crafts myself which were great opportunities to meet and connect with other guests and staff especially being a solo traveler. BEWARE!! They used my credit card for another reservation and it was like pulling teeth to get a refund. They admitted to the fault but did NOT credit my card which caused me to dispute it with my CC company. I had spent three days in the phone with Westgate and finally decided to turn it over to my CC company
