I was lucky to stay in the Westgate park for 5-6 days for a company-wide conference and this place is huge and amazing. Located 40 minutes from the airport. The rooms look very modern but for some reason, the shower didn't work for us but we loved the steam bath inside the bathroom.

I'll start with the few positive attributes. The location is good and almost ski in ski out. The Edge Restaurant is amazing and we will go back there even if we stay somewhere else. Now the negatives. Our group agreed that the architect of the resort must have been the inventor of the Corn Maze. Just amazing how messed up the floor plans and paths… Read more
I'll start with the few positive attributes. The location is good and almost ski in ski out. The Edge Restaurant is amazing and we will go back there even if we stay somewhere else. Now the negatives. Our group agreed that the architect of the resort must have been the inventor of the Corn Maze. Just amazing how messed up the floor plans and paths of travel are. Second, the common areas like the 100 yard long hallways to nowhere are dirty and old. There was a white gelatin substance right outside the 6th floor elevator that was there for all 4 days of our stay. The final negative was the Starbucks in the lobby. It did not open until 7AM, had a 10 to 15 person line when it did, and was manned by a single employee who spoke little english. He ran out of coffee each morning on customer 5 or 6 and then started to make another pot. Just ridiculous customer service. Read less

PROS: We booked at Westgate because we like being at the base of the mountain. The ski boot locker room and valet ski services were excellent and a real treat to not "shlep" all the gear to the first lift. The spas, pools, and gym were also well maintained and welcoming on no-ski and after ski days. Free laundry on site; restaurant in building if you don't want to venture out, and extremely friendly staff. Also, free INDOOR parking was a plus! CONS: Our room was a "luxury suite" - all 350 square feet of it. It had a partial kitchen - no oven - and zero counter space. Since we like to make meals and eat in - this was a big let down. In addition - the "one bedroom" was a sliding door between the small, cramped bedroom and small kitchen/living space. Since we were there for close to a week, we felt the smallness of the "suite". We did ask about an upgrade, but at $350 per night, it just was not worth the cost in addition to our travel and lift tickets. We have skied in Park City several times before - this was our first stay at Westgate. I know there are larger units at comparable or less prices - not at the base of the mountain. Read less

The room has no proper exhaust or ventilation. It is dirty and old. The carpet in the lobby stinks, dirty and wet all the time. The staff are friendly but inefficient. It took forever to check in. I don’t want to come back at this facility

Paid extra for a jetted tub. Jets and shower curtain were mildewed. Brown splatter on the wall by the toilet, a used contact lens left on the floor and a hole in the tile of the shower. Paid extra for a jetted tub. Jets and shower curtain were mildewed. Brown splatter on the wall by the toilet, a used contact lens left on the floor and a hole in the tile of the shower. Housekeeping took the dirty curtain but failed to bring one back. Ended up having to shower in a different room. Someone from housekeeping took the liberty of moving my pajamas (On the bed I made myself) and take my personal effects and lay them out on a towel - after the room had already been "Cleaned" for the day. Lobby furniture had greasy head stains on the seatbacks and greasy arms on chairs. Maze of a hotel required 3 floor changes at different elevators and a journey through the pool to find a restaurant.
