Pretty Hotel But Not What it Seems

The hotel it’s self was pretty, the service was great, I want to specifically give the restaurants service a 5 star! But the reason why such a low rating my second night we got no sleep. Our room tried getting broken into. I also want to note that the hotel parking does not accommodate truck parking. My boyfriend’s truck barely made the Clarence. Everything else was great but no nights sleep due to being terrified and truck not accommodated for parking, that leaves a low rating.
Additional info:
Room I had but other rooms may have as well:
The rooms have damaged sprinkler heads, doors that need repair- well that’s 923 for you. And it’s outdated. Only a fridge, hair dryer, and coffee maker.

In desperate need of a refurbishment
Jul 28, 2024cndseetheworldLondon, United Kingdom
Quick trip to Salt Lake City, it’s a very old fashioned hotel and really needs a refurbishment.
We were upgraded as diamond members to a deluxe Mountain View room.
The breakfast was good and they had an omelette station and a dish of the day.
Two gym rooms - one big cardio room and a smaller weight room.

We were upgraded as diamond members to a deluxe Mountain View room.
The breakfast was good and they had an omelette station and a dish of the day.
Two gym rooms - one big cardio room and a smaller weight room.
We booked an advance rate and the price fluctuated a lot so ended up being a lot cheaper than we initial paid, reached out before check in, was asked to discuss with the manager when I arrived, who didn’t remotely care. So be careful when booking.

Great Location to see LDS buildings
Jul 25, 2024Jo_and_TomAnna, Ohio
Location is on Temple Square close to many of the LDS buildings. It is downtown so there are may restaurants and bars within walking distance. There are 18 floors and 4 elevators. The elevators seemed slow when you wanted to use them - took time to get to your floor but maybe function of occupancy.
The rooms were nice - queen size beds, nice…

We stayed at this Hilton after completing a national parks tour and prior to a flight the following day. The Hilton is centrally located near free public transit and in an area with many restaurants, bars, and music. Our room was Hilton quality, very clean and comfortable and we were happy with everything about the hotel. There is a Ruths Chris downstairs along with a Spencers Restaurant. We walked to the LDS Family Search building and did some research and visited the Tabernacle.

my party is digitally checked in, yet because i’m not the one paying, i can’t get checked in myself to get into the room.
stood at the counter for the staff to address me, and they never did. one worker asked the woman i was waiting to address me if she was helping me and said no, so i told her i was waiting on her.
i hope they…

i hope they aren’t the ones cleaning the rooms, otherwise there won’t be anything done.
salt lake is rather salty so far, i need my southern hospitality ASAP.
