This is an amazing property run by a truly caring and hard-working staff, and in about the most perfect location for visiting Zion National Park. After getting your free buffet breakfast at the hotel, they have supply you with your day's supply of hiking snacks (baggies of carrot sticks, apples, bananas, raisins, and even uncrustables) for free, you take the free community shuttle bus from your front door, 1 mile, to the park welcome center/entrance. The hotel is clean, updated, with free parking, and the staff are courteous, kind and professional, with great advice for where to get dinner and other shopping needs. They have a well-maintained poll and jacuzzi to sit in and relax after your days hiking, with views of the canyon range right from the hot-tub (and most local eateries. Can't say enough good thing about our stay, and with a Costco "package" deal, the hotel/car rental/flight were almost as cheap as just booking the flight alone with American Airlines. Read less

This hotel treats their guests still as individuals and surprises with little things: iced water with lemons/oranges/cucumbers, extreme clean, snacks to go for hikers, lunch bags, an awesome breakfast, notepads with a little note on it which makes you smile and really really friendly staff

You’re close to multiple dining options in Springdale, which is very walkable. You’re also a 2 minute drive from the park entrance. We would definitely stay here again on another Zion visit! This two-story hotel is beautifully decorated with spacious rooms and a lovely outdoor area with plenty of places to sit near the pool and hot tub and enjoy incredible mountainous views. There are also two covered patio areas on the second floor. It doesn't feel like your typical Hampton Inn (I believe it was originally from a different hotel chain), but it still has all the amenities — including their trademark complimentary breakfast and super-comfy beds. Healthy snacks and water infused with citrus fruit near the lobby are a nice touch. Centrally located to restaurants, grocery stores, and gift shops. The shuttle stop is right at the entrance, but if you're there off-season like we were in March, you'll have to walk nearly a mile to get to the park entrance (Zion parking is small and limited). Our only complaint was the thin wall to the connecting room had a very loud family next door. This hotel sells out well in advance, so book early. Special thanks to the staff for finding and mailing my husband's prescription sunglasses back to us! Again, a terrific stay. We can't wait to return. Read less
