Situated adjacent to Embassy Row and Adam James, a short walk to the Metro Station which takes you to all the famous sights. Transfer time from Dulles International Airport: 1 hour.

834 rooms on 8 floors in 2 buildings with 6 lifts. All with air-conditioning, flatscreen HDTV, clock radio, coffee maker, WiFi access*, iron and board and hairdryer. Deluxe Rooms are 300 sq ft and have 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 2 queen-size beds or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

I recently stayed at the Omni for the CBC. The receptionist at the front desk upon check in and the room were great. The issue came when my partner and I went to the lounge to grab something to eat. I understand that the lounge was busy, however waiting for over 30 mins for someone to clean the table so we could sit and order was not acceptable. Rahel saw us waiting for someone to clean the table and she continued to ignore us. Even after I approached Rahel and asked if she could come and clean the table, it took her an additional 20 mins. Once seated, we did not see Rahel again. We ended up asking another waiter who was working a different section if he could put our order in. After 1.5 of sitting in Rahel section, I made a complaint to the manager, Antonio. He apologized regarding our experience and tried to make an excuse for Rahel lack of customer service and stated he would speak to her. Then we inquired about our food and the waiter that had inputted our meal selection. After about 45 min of waiting for our food, the manager and the male waiter were able to get our food from the back. They did apologize for the delay. Even the waiter admitted that he had placed our order over 30 min and we still did not have food. In total, we spent almost two hours trying to get waited on and our food brought to us. Our food was compensated for which was not needed. After checking out, I made a complaint with the receptionist who tried to make up an excuse about the hotel being busy. That is not an excuse for poor customer service. Rahel had been in our section several times and failed to stop at our table to acknowledge our presence and that she would get to us. In the future, please don't make an excuse for someone's bad or lack of customer service. Acknowledge the event took place, apologize for the event, ask if its anything that can be done to help improve the experience, and let it be. But to insult someone's intelligence by making an excuse for a worker who has horrible customer service is unacceptable. I am sure the hotel was aware that there would be a lot of people in the hotel that night and should have planned accordingly. Read less

Our stay was tranquil, as the suite we stayed in was extremely quiet, featuring a balcony overlooking the pool and comfortable beds. While the updated baths may not be that large, this large hotel, featuring a lot of conferences, has a great outdoor terrace and breakfast and is located not too far from D.C. attractions. It's location near Rock Creek Park makes guests feel like they are miles away from a big city. Read less

Stayed with our two kids for one night. Pool bar was closed and no pool towels available. Restaurant was closed so went to lounge and waited 15 mins to even be acknowledged at the bar. Ordered room service because it was not a place for our kids (ages 15 & 8) to be in. Shower leaked in our room, ice maker didn’t work on our floor. People were up… Read more

The beds are very hard to sleep on! They gave me the wrong room, and I had to move everything from the east side to the west side by myself. They did not offer to give me help.
