My sister and I stayed here for the weekend and were especially pleased with the people. We had cocktails at the bar and were greeted by Bishw. I found the design and layout of our junior suite rather odd and dark, but it was fine. The breakfast was terrific. We both chose the buffet. The fruits and vegetables were abundant. There was lox, bacon, cheese soufflés, pancakes, etc. The coffee and juices were fresh and delicious. I’d stay here again. Read less

Stayed here for four night while visiting D.C. we came to do all the tourist things. This hotel is not next to everything but a 10-15 minute Uber ride you are right by everything. Distance wise you are pretty close to things, but time wise with traffic adds time. The hotel was busy with conferences, but it was never an issue. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Every morning if house keeping was in the hallway they made it a point to say good morning. We ate breakfast every morning at the hotel. We elected for the full buffet which was $35 a person. But each person got an $18 dollar a day food credit. So in reality it wasn’t that bad. The food at the buffet was good and actually hot every morning and the wait staff was very attentive. The rooms were cleaned daily and no issues with house keeping. The store downstairs is actually pretty big and has a Starbucks inside it. Lots of options to choose from. Some people in other reviews complained about the walking from the elevators to your room. Depending where your room is you might have a little walk. It’s just the design and layout of the hotel. It’s nothing major for a quick walk. And it’s really not far to walk. We had a corner room and it’s not that far. Read less
