Nothing major, just a series of minor annoyances that at $270/night I think are worth noting. 1) Inconsistent/incorrect information on website, which is now the primary means of communicating with guests (as we know, those desk binders are obsolete the day they're printed). Restaurant hours wrong, incorrect information about fitness center fee. 2) The (obsolete) desk binder referred me to the separate room service menu, which didn't exist. When I called down and requested one, I was told to see TV channel 1-2 to for menu for coffee shop downstairs, open until 9 p.m. In the five days I stayed, channel 1-2 never displayed any information. 3) Room service of any kind -- let alone 24/7 room service -- is no more. It is possible to order food at the restaurants to go (i.e., take upstairs). Same limited menu at all restaurants. Ordered from Door Dash one night, got to parade through the lobby in my bunny slippers before my business colleagues to meet the delivery person (not allowed upstairs). 4) Requested refrigerator, which was delivered promptly but which, I discovered the next morning, did not work. Replaced all the refrigerated items I'd purchased at Glen's the evening before. Replacement fridge did work, but smelled of sour milk every time I opened the door. 4) Shower heads are c. 1967. On the plus side, comfy beds/bedding and quiet/responsive HVAC system. Read less

I stayed here for conference but during the breaks I discovered what a great location it was to get to several landmarks by walking. The zoo is 1 mile and White House is approximately 2 miles! I also found several local cafes with various ethnic cuisines that were delicious.

Bodily fluid hair and nail clippings found in room. Changed 3 times and still unclean. Will never go to again. Outdated furniture also. I love the hilton brand but this one is a definite no go. Will go somewhere else when in the dc area again.

Beautiful hotel convenient to metro and all that DC has to offer. The ballroom is gorgeous. Rooms were clean as well as the rest of the hotel. WiFi was weak but present. McClellans was a great night time spot for drinks and watching games. Food was above average bar food.

If you aren't looking for surprises, this is your place. It had everything I was looking for, and everything I expected for my stay. (although the pillows were a bit tiny.) My room was a bit of a hike from the elevator, but I didn't mind once I arrived. Convenient to Dupont Circle.
