First had some issues at checking where I used the app to check in and get an electronic key. This was at 10ish in the AM had to message the hotel well after 5 to get a key. Second thing the bell desk charges a dollar $1 to look after your bag.. seriously… $1!!! Told me it was some kind of union BS. In my mind the states it’s a “full service”… Read more

In my mind the states it’s a “full service” hotel.. and who carries cash.. that was just stupid. The elevators at really sketchy. Has one that kept blanking out the floors.. couple missed theirs and finally just got off. The hallways are dark and the room doors are flush with the wall.. kinda strange.. Anyway..place needs some help.. Read less

This hotel has great meeting space and they staff does well in accommodating large groups effortlessly! Staff is always courteous and pleasant. One thing to know about this hotel- depending on which wing of the hotel you’re staying, the corridor is LONG, so the walk from the elevator to your room can be lengthy. Folks who may have trouble walking long distances should ask for a room close to the elevator when booking. Looking forward to staying here again when I am in town! (For history buffs, there is a historical marker right outside the lower entrance that marks where President Reagan was shot.) Read less

What an absolute dump. Huge crumbling 1970s monstrosity that has definitely seen better decades. Now it’s just a giant echoing Holiday Inn Express. Rooms deeply unimpressive, looking dated and unused, smells mouldy. All the bathroom amenities are now bolted to the wall like a white collar prison. Rooms deeply unimpressive, looking dated and unused, smells mouldy. All the bathroom amenities are now bolted to the wall like a white collar prison. Room service advertised as 24 hours doesn’t exist at all. Nobody picks up the phone. I was on hold for 30 minutes and nobody picked up. Absolute garbage service. I called the front desk and he suggested I come downstairs and order in the restaurant- kind of defeating the object of room service wouldn’t you say ? The front desk staff are clearly well established in their happy work-avoiding little niche and are happy just chatting away with the person in front of the while the queue just gets longer and longer - bone idle slackers. I had checked in online on the truly appalling Hilton App. Said I had a digital key but had to check in anyway. Room selection was a joke. Every self-selection option on every single floor was $110 extra PER NIGHT. Ended up in the worst possible room they chose for me, half underground and next to the outside air conditioning units. Avoid this hotel. They aren’t interested in your business. Read less

I have stayed at plenty of four and five star hotels (Omni, Gaylord, other Hiltons), and after staying at this place, I will never stay at a Hilton or any of its affiliated sites again. For starters, the room was not the cleanest and small--like a hostel if you have ever stayed at one. The room did not even have a mini-fridge! At least you get a mini-fridge at a Red Roof Inn or Super 8! The hotel staff and security were rude and offered no substantive help when I was locked out of my room. When my friend returned with the key, I grabbed my stuff and left the place at 1 am to stay somewhere else. Please choose something better--anything. Read less

This hotel was ok. Cons: lumpy saggy mattress, feathery pillows provided no neck support, extremely limited counter space in bathroom, showerhead needs replacement - old and rusty looking, overall the place is looking worn and a bit beat up. I'd stay here again if I could not find better options. Read less
