This hotel has it all. As close as you can get to the Capitol and the Smithsonians. Everyone we interacted with from the front desk to the restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was a few steps ahead of other hotel restaurants in terms of the staff and the food. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. There's a hotel store which includes a coffee shop that was impressive. Price was reasonable for a 4 star hotel. We would definitely stay there again. Read less

This was a great location for a family visit to DC. We were traveling with grandparents and 3 kids under 5. The staff was SO LOVELY and went out of their way to be helpful and kind to the kids, I never felt like my children… Read more

The hotel was perfect because it had a bar, a pool, a gift shop with literally everything you could ever need and more. The staff was SO LOVELY and went out of their way to be helpful and kind to the kids, I never felt like my children were a nuisance. The location was also amazing, so close to the mall. The rooms are basic. They are not five star. That's not why you are going to this hotel. They were clean. Read less

A very ordinary hotel, as far as facilities go, and a very odd mixture of staff in that some seem to really care about customer experience (all the parking attendants and one of the bell caps) and some who are totally indifferent (the concierge and the manager we encountered near the bell cap desk). A very ordinary hotel, as far as facilities go, and a very odd mixture of staff in that some seem to really care about customer experience (all the parking attendants and one of the bell caps) and some who are totally indifferent (the concierge and the manager we encountered near the bell cap desk). The location is great if you're coming and going by Amtrak or if the focus of your visit is the Capital Building, The Supreme Court, or the Library of Congress. I feel no great desire to go back.
