This hotel is extremely conveniently located if you have business at the Pentagon (10 min walk). Shuttle to and from DCA (Reagan) makes it so you don't have to rent a car. Restaurants nearby with eclectic choices for food. 10 min walk for every thing.

The location is amazing and friendly staff. The rooms are very well kept and comfortable. However expensive breakfast and expensive parking does not provide a good value for the money. Other hotels nearby have better rates considering breakfast and parking.

Sky restaurant is mediocre food for over priced rates, pool was drained and they didn’t have any cookies. I visited the front desk three times for my issues, which was annoying. The room was cozy and the area was close to the airport, which was the main reason for my booking this place.

I always stay at Hilton hotels because of the friendliness, cleanliness and overall quality of the rooms. This stay was no different. I booked the Presidential Suite which was AMAZING!. The balcony view couldn't be beat and the room was so spacious. The couches and bed were honestly some of the most comfortable I have laid on at any hotel. I would most definitely stay again however, the only issue came from the rooftop revolving restaurant. It was my first time ever being in a revolving restaurant with 360 views of the city so I wanted to see what it was about. My partner and I went upstairs and the host greeted us. I explained that we were guests at the hotel and wanted to see the restaurant (honestly what hotel doesn't let guests at least look inside their restaurant). The host was pretty rude and emphasized they do not allow anyone to just view the restaurant. I was a little taken aback and decided if the only way we were going to be able to see the place was if we at least got a drink at the bar. We sat at the bar but the way it is positioned and the way the room spins, the tables and chairs were really cramped so my partner moved the chair back a little. The same host came running over this time even more rude saying "ma'am you CANNOT move the chairs, please put it back where you found it. We position chairs like this for a reason". Now, I have worked in customer service all my life and there are ways that you speak to people. Again this was our first time and had no idea the floor was moving the way it did. We drunk our drinks and at the end, I approached the host and made it clear that he was very unprofessional to us as patrons. He made up some excuse for speaking to us that way and I just turned my back on him and left. There is no excuse for yelling about chairs to new guests. Moral of the story is, hotel was beautiful and wonderful but the restaurant customer service made the difference between a 4 and 5 star experience. Read less

I arrived around 9 p.m. and wanted to eat so I sat at the bar and went with a rather mundane club. What was presumably toasted bread crumbled on being touched. When I could get the bartender's attention to ask why this "sandwich" was impossible to eat as a sandwich, his response was, "it's supposed to be like that." While the bread was crumbly, the rest of the sandwich was just as dry. At the event I was attending, they served meat balls that literally cracked they were so dry. Not the best place to eat. I could tolerate less than stellar food. On the 11th floor I had no hot water. I went to my room before 11 after trying to eat. I turned on the sink hoping to wash my face and cold water came out. It never got even warm. I called the front desk and the response was: "just let it run. It will eventually warm up." This contradicts their alleged commitment to water conservation. However, this didn't work, so they sent maintenance up. His solution was to turn on the tub and the sink and the water eventually got lukewarm in the sink. He said I should not have anymore problems. But, I did. The next morning again no hot water. This delayed both a shower and a shave while the tub and sink ran full for 8 minutes before I got water hot enough to shower. The sink remained barely warm. This happened both nights I stayed and both mornings. Hot water is not a lot to ask so I will not stay here again. Read less
