Customer service was amazing. Gentle, serene, kind, Jin, front desk, printed tickets for me to the group to visit the air and space museum. The room gets cleaned every day! Image of the Tripadvisor rating The room was beyond gross

I'm not sure how this place has so many good reviews. This hotel is the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. We checked in on a Monday at 7pm and the receptionist could not have been less friendly. I'm not sure how this place has so many good reviews. This hotel is the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. We checked in on a Monday at 7pm and the receptionist could not have been less friendly. He said that our room was not ready yet but he would check to see what he could do. What? It's 7pm! We were exhausted from traveling and took the room that was available. That room was room 410 and it was awful. It was so small and faced the interior of the hotel, so no view, and no sunlight. We've stayed in hotels in New York and have never seen a room so small. Chunks of carpet were missing, original yellow light switches, holes in the sheets, different colored door handles everywhere. But the worst was the bathroom, it constantly smelled liked sewage, mold all over the bottom of the shower. It was so gross. The shower curtain had stains everywhere and smelled like urine, stains all over the bathroom walls, and the mirror was peeling and all rusty. One side of the bed was pushed up against one wall so it was really awkward getting in/out of bed and not to mention, there wasn't anywhere to put your phone/glasses/water. So bizarre. There was a desk with a chair but the chair didn't fit in front of the desk to actually utilize it because there wasn't any room between the bed and the desk (the room is that small). The lobby looked great but that was the only nice part of the the hotel. The rest of the hotel is really old and it shows (it doesn't matter how many coats of paint they put on it). We were there at the end of June during the heat wave and they didn't have any water for purchase in lobby or the bar. The food at the restaurant was actually decent but the service was dreadful. No one looked like they liked working there. It definitely wasn't what we expected for a Marriott/Bonvoy hotel. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Old, beat up room

Our room was old and beat up. Especially the bathroom. The halls are dark and the rooms are small. If we hadn't arrived so late and exhausted I would have tried to get another room. Luckily we only were there for 2 nights. I've not stayed anywhere this bad since we I was a broke college kid. Positives: The staff was nice and the air conditioning… Read more

We loved the hotel and Eli was a big help to us. He’s a real professional. He helped me find places I wanted to go and recommended restaurants. He also told me how to get a Uber to the casino. His recommended the hotel restaurant and that was awesome.

When I came downstairs to tell the front desk, they didn’t believe me. Both employees went upstairs to look at my room and when the got back downstairs they said “Oh wow, your room is filled with smoke! Should we call the fire department?” The fire alarm was only going off in my room, which I later found out from the hotel employee was because the larger system fire alarm has been turned off so they wouldn’t have to evacuate the entire hotel when this happens. This has to be illegal. The fire department arrived and the employees couldn’t figure out how to give them roof access. The fire department informed me that this was an electrical fire in the HVAC system. It was really just a terrible experience all around and it gave me no faith in the safety of patrons that stay at this hotel. My personal belongings were ruined with smoke and it was not even offered to have my room comped! It was all around a terrible experience. THIS HOTEL IS NOT SAFE. Read less
