I would never stay here again or recommend. Our room was not very clean, the bedding looked like it had not been changed from the previous guest. Annoying music in our room from morning till night, we were over the front awning. We had breakfast at the dining room…awful .
Our first time in Washington, the hotel was in a good position to get to the sights and Georgetown is a lovely area

Very pleasant hotel with very helpful staff in a lovely location and we were very pleased to get an upgrade.
The only downside was we felt the hotel was a little tired decor wise in the room. However the room was very clean and comfortable with quality bedding.
Very nice D.C. hotel

Very clean, spacious and comfortable Deluxe King room. Geo, Arshel and Lizbeth provided excellent customer service. The hotel was a relatively easy walk to our conference location. The surrounding area felt pretty safe and very "city-scenic". I highly recommend this hotel.

5/5 for the hotel and stay.
Stay was great. I am very picky about bedding and room temperature, and both are fantastic at the Melrose (very comfortable bedding and thermostat that allows the room to get cold enough even on hot nights).
3/5 for experience getting a receipt - I had to call three separate times to get a correct receipt.

Stay was great. I am very picky about bedding and room temperature, and both are fantastic at the Melrose (very comfortable bedding and thermostat that allows the room to get cold enough even on hot nights).
3/5 for experience getting a receipt - I had to call three separate times to get a correct receipt.
However, on my third call I finally connected with the right person, Geo, who helped me right away, ensured he had the right email, and stayed on the line with me until I received the receipt. He was professional and patient. While I'm frustrated with the overall receipt process, his help was very appreciated - he finally got it done!
