Dirty room. Poor cleaning job. Bathroom unclean. No moisturizer. Stayed 2 nights. Paid $750a day. It’s a rip off for that money. Called bell man for bags but he never showed up. Had to carry my bags. Poor value fir the money they charge Will not stay there in future

In addition to the University, It's within walking distance to several restaurants, bars, coffee shops, pharmacies and all the attractions . My room was spacious and exceptionally clean! The beds were small, although comfortable. I brought along my dog, and the hotel was very accommodating . Coffee was served in the lobby in the a.m. but only for a shortened period of time. Valet parking was easy. I would absolutely return next time I'm in DC. Read less

Love this hotel! The rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfortable, it is quiet, and the front desk staff are extremely helpful. 2 blocks away from Georgetown makes the location of this hotel perfect. We also got married here and the courtyard and promenade are stunning!!

Seems that everyone is also quite upset about the hotel not having an eating facility, which I would think would knock it down a couple of stars, especially when you see people eating in the lobby. Quite an inconvenience to be running around looking for food. And it’s puzzling how the manager’s responses to comments regarding the lack of an eatery never addresses the issue directly. Is the hotel never bringing back food? Last night it was raining and although there are some restaurants nearby, but it’s not a fun thing to do on a rainy night. The Blue Duck Tavern across the street was only taking people from their hotel, the Hyatt. Starbucks and the deli close at 7:00pm. Room was fine, bathroom was huge, but for a hotel without food service the price is too high. However, the self-parking is a huge convenience for anyone driving. Elevator goes from lobby to parking level. Personnel was very pleasant. Funnies–hanger has a sign about a non-existing robe and room key has a photo of non-existing food. And the left closet door doesn’t open because the nightstand is too big. Read less

I'd echo a few comments I have seen from other reviews. The hotel is a bit dated. Very large rooms but heavy, clunky outdated furniture takes up much of the space. Most important to highlight, the hotel, 2 years into the pandemic, still offers ZERO food service. This means that Marriott elites entitled to free breakfast do not get anything (and no other compensation is offered beyond a single urn of free coffee in the lobby that frequently runs out) nor can other guests take advantage of an in-hotel restaurant. Meanwhile, every hotel in the vicinity of M street (and there are a lot) offers restaurant service, at least for breakfast. That includes the Marriott Georgetown, steps away that not only has restaurants open but their club lounge for elites. Heck, we stayed at a Sheraton Suites in Wilmington, DE on our way down to DC and even they offered breakfast. In April 2022 this is really not acceptable, especially for a hotel at this level. Some positives of the hotel worth mentioning: easy access in building to a garage and dog friendly. Read less
