My daughter and I had planned a Spring Break road trip to the east coast to visit a bunch of colleges and universities. Everything got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic--colleges were sending their students home, etc. I had booked a non-cancellable reservation with the Hamilton and just received notice that they waived the charge outright. … Read more

We were in DC to tour downtown and national mall attractions. Convenient location about 8 blocks north of the mall. Charming and historic” atmosphere. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable bed and more affordable than many DC hotels. Starbucks in lobby was a plus but there is a Keurig machine in the room. I would stay here again!

On Our departure day they kindly held our bags after checkout. Loved this place. Bonus that it isn’t a chain. It’s truly a DC hotel with decor that is modern but alludes to the history of DC. This was our first time staying at the Hamilton and it was very nice. Checking in and out was super easy and I loved the champagne at arrival. The rooms are on point for the price point but a little better: stocked mini bar, great beds, nice toiletries, soft towels and a fresh robe. Loved that they have a Starbucks right in the lobby as well. My… Read more

My only downgrade is that it was probably time for the carpets in our room to either be cleaned or replaced but other than that the stay was was a solid A. I definitely look forward to coming back!
