Great Hotel. Very modern and energetic feeling. Quiet and comfortable room. The room was a little smaller than other hotels but that doesn't bother me because I just need a cozy and quiet room to sleep after a long day of siteseeing. Very clean room. The air conditioning worked well and kept me cool during the hot and humid summer. I would stay… Read more

Pros: This is a cute quaint spot in DC. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well cared for. Minutes away from the metro station. Cons: Rooms are very small, ironing board is a communal in a shared space with all guest on that floor, rooms are not good for relaxing but excellent if you are planning to stay away… Read more

If you are traveling solo, on a budget, and without a car, this hotel should fit your needs. If not, I would suggest looking for other hotels. A room with a Queen bed is 150 square feet. The bed itself has 2 thick blankets, no comforter. The bathroom is made completely of grooved glass. Turning on the light in the bathroom at night is the… Read more

The bed itself has 2 thick blankets, no comforter. The bathroom is made completely of grooved glass. Turning on the light in the bathroom at night is the equivalent of turning on all of the lights in the room. There is no closet in the room. Parking is 2 blocks away. I’m a lifetime Marriott Bonvoy member. This is not my favorite property of theirs. Read less

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great design but small rooms (and a mixup)

I really appreciate how much attention was paid to the design of this hotel. From the lobby to the rooms, it’s obvious that a lot of care was taken to make the place look fun. I also liked the big shower. However our room with one queen size bed (I think?) was far too small for two people to fit comfortably. It was impossible to get out of one… Read more
I really appreciate how much attention was paid to the design of this hotel. From the lobby to the rooms, it’s obvious that a lot of care was taken to make the place look fun. I also liked the big shower. However our room with one queen size bed (I think?) was far too small for two people to fit comfortably. It was impossible to get out of one side of the bed without having to turn sideways and shimmy past the frame. But even more concerning was that the front desk clerk gave me a key to a room that was already occupied. I walked in and someone’s belongings were in the room, the television was on and the bed had been unmade. Besides being incredibly embarrassed, I wondered how seriously the hotel took safety if they would be so cavalier about giving a key to a room that was already in use. If someone had walked in on me while I was still in the room, I would’ve asked for my money back immediately. Read less
