An historic property that’s been treated to a $8 million makeover, it has all the sharp styling you’d expect from a hotel right at the heart of this modern metropolis, just a block from Union Station and a stroll from the top sights and shopping. We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was super friendly. Room was comfy and clean. Loved the pillows - not too firm and not too soft. Bathroom was nice and clean; only wish we had a bit more counter space. Great location. We will likely stay here again.

All staff were friendly and responded to our needs immediately (extra blankets, towels), one housekeeper actually stopped what she was doing to open our room door for us because she noticed our hands were full! Special shout-outs to Darren for always greeting us with a warm smile and Brenda for her professionalism and ability to answer our questions. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the location, cleanliness and complimentary coffee and tea station made up for that. Nice upgrades in the room as well; marble bathroom tile and laminate wood flooring in the bedroom. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend you give this hotel a try, you won't be disappointed in the high quality service and proximity to metro and National Mall! Read less

Great hotel in great location . Clean and very comfortable. Friendly staff. Bar and restaurant on site, dinner was only ok (fish and chips) but breakfast good (french toast). Tea and coffee making facility on 2nd floor free of charge was very handy. Walking distance to Washington shops, Macy’s, Sephora etc and really close to Union station.

Staff was very engaged and hospitable. Always greeting you with your name and a smile. Attention to detail is noted throughout the property. Bulls eye location and walking distance to Metro Rail. David Hill GM and his team are very gracious and truly care about their guests.
