Just spectacular! Our first trip to the Caribbean in 20 years and it won’t be our last. We have loved our beach trips to Mexico yet there is something about the atmosphere of the islands that is so appealing. We honeymooned on St Kitts, so we may like the smaller-scale islands. Turks and Caicos certainly fit that bill. Or room was spacious (one bedroom) and had a partial ocean view. The deck was enormous and had a great view of the property. There was even a compact washer-dryer in the unit. Noise level was muted. Floors are tile so we could occasionally hear other guests—yet nothing egregious. The food was uniformly good. The highlight was the jerk chicken served everyday behind the beach bar. I am sorry I didn’t catch the lovely woman’s name—she was so sweet and we can still taste her delectable chicken. We had two dinners at Blue Haven at Fire & Ice. That food seemed elevated compared to the restaurants at Alexandra, but it’s a fifteen minute shuttle to get there and reservations for two were hard to come by. There isn’t much to say about the beach that hasn’t already been said—we thought it was divine. The beach and entertainment staff unexpectedly made our trip so much more memorable than our past vacations. Between the beach games and music-themed evening events, we found it easy to meet other guests and it added an element of fun beyond just lying on the beach. Overall, the resort was big enough to have choices yet small enough that you frequently see familiar faces. We did a couple of excursions — a half-day snorkel cruise and a parasailing trip. Both were a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed a stop at Noah’s Ark for a late lunch and drink. We heard from others guests and they had similarly positive experiences on their excursions. While service was terrific throughout our stay, these folks exceeded our expectations: Entertainment Staff: Kimmron, Lettuce, Barbie, Rhazzor and Aisha Ronald—Smoothie Bar Nicola - Fire and Ice Keisha - Coconut bar Read less

But these positives were outweighed by the awful staff and poor food. The staff clearly hate working there and I saw no evidence of the famous Caribbean hospitality. Several turned their back on me and walked off as I was asking for help. No smiles, not even a ‘Hello.’ My wife got sick on day two having only eaten at the resort and missed many activities. The service was slow and the food of low quality. My advice: spend your money elsewhere. P.s. I did discuss my concerns with the hotel management but nothing improved. Read less

The resort, and all of the amenities, are clean and well kept. Every meal we had was better than the last. Of all the employees at the resort, Trishauna working the pool bar was by far the BEST and sweetest. She is so personable, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. Mustafa, who welcomed us, was also very nice & helpful as we settled in. We will absolutely be back to see the beautiful water and say hi to Trishauna! I can’t say enough good things about her.
