Claudette on the beach is best person to speak to for arranging taxis and the excellent Creole Lobster boat trip. The resort is a very solid 4 star resort where the all inclusive food and drinks are of a very good standard. The 2 restaurant managers and their staff work very hard and deliver an excellent level of customer service . We were upgraded for 2 days to a plunge pool cottage and then moved to a nearby sea view cottage which were very comfortable. Our only gripe and nothing to do with Coco Bay was the very lively clientele on the week we stayed . Cries and shouts for “shots” and liquor resonated from after breakfast to curfew. There were loud drunk young people taking over both pools who thought it was a college spring break . Maybe just bad luck that we chose that week . Would definitely recommend this for young people under 35. And for that reason we probably would not visit again . Read less

This is probably due to the fact that everyone has their own chalet, but also because there are multiple areas to relax (2 large infinity pools, beach and some delightful hidden areas built into the rock). Food was better than expected (most all inclusive resorts I have been to have been very average) with 3 course lunches and 4 course dinners from a menu with choices to suit all our grown up family. What was most impressive were the people. Everyone without exception was warm, welcoming and incredibly eager to help. All extremely efficient and very professional. The front of house staff were exceptional in helping where required. As long as the prices remain competitive we will, without hesitation, come back. Read less

In the past years, I’ve been all around the Caribbean ...I have visited almost every Island but after finding CocoBay, I think my visits to the other islands are over! This Island and resort are the perfect fit for me and my husband ..and also for my daughter (21) and I ..even tho it’s geared towards honeymooners/couples, it’s perfect for a mother daughter trip too! I just got back from my 6th visit. I have stayed in all the different category rooms ..from the least expensive to the most and they are ALL fabulous with incredible views. This resort is quaint..lush ..clean..safe and pretty. The views are breathtaking no matter where you’re standing... The staff is Amazing ...everyone from checkin.. Jenine Kemlen and Golda to the bars with Saskia Altino, Vincia & Sasha (They all make great drinks) to the dining area.. with Cristoff, Carl, Devern,Germaine, Tiffany Kiffany Denise Sherese and the Chefs Sam Jay & Sonia (don’t know the rest of the names..but they’re ALL amazing) Glendale & ShaRon were great too when we rented the Black Rock pool...I cant forget Roxanne who runs the water sports..she took us out on the hobiecat a few times which I highly recommend..topaz for my perfect Relaxing massages and O’Neal who is the general manager on the property. I have not met 1 person who wasn’t sweet and helpful on the property during all of my stays in the past year or so...I wish I could name each person personally Bc they all deserve a shout out for doing an outstanding job...My reason for writing this review is to stress how Jenine goes out of her way every time to make sure EVERYTHING IS JUST RIGHT, from Before check in, to check out..I have food allergies and mostly can never eat out when home .. It when visiting, Chef Sam and his team make sure I stay allergen free ..making my meals to perfection! I have extremely high standards and EVERYONE at CocoBay Resort far exceeds everyone of them! Lastly ...if you’re lucky enough to visit CocoBay, be sure to make your way over to Valley Church Beach on the opposite side of Little Ffryes beach, you can walk it or take a kayak out ..both will get you there within 5 or so minutes. So I give this resort a solid 5 stars, I can’t think of one reason not too! Read less

Boyfriend and visited just before COVID hit. This was easily the most incredible place we've ever visited - both as a couple, and avid individual travelers. We stayed in a "regular" cottage (no swim out pool) - was spacious and very clean. Shower had great pressure. Balcony had a super comfy hammock. Views from the cottage were absolutely breathtaking. I genuinely don't think you could go wrong with any of the cottages - they all seemed to overlook the water. We didn't feel the need to leave Cocobay for any excursions because the resort had everything we could ever want. We snorkeled and kayaked to our hearts content. It's great because there are a few other beaches you can kayak too with more lively bars and patrons. Make sure to bring a waterproof pouch for cash. A couple we met on the trip went out on the catamaran / sailboat assisted by one of the staff. Little touch that I loved - in the lobby, there are cabinets/shelves with hundreds of great books available for all patrons to just grab, read, and return. I brought my Kindle, but am a huge fan of a hard cover book, so this was one of the best I would come back to Cocobay in a heartbeat. It was the perfect place for us as a low maintenance couple who wanted to sit on a beach and relax for a week. The food was great, but there's one primary restaurant, so if you're looking for a huge resort with a ton of food options, you'll likely be disappointed. The buffet at breakfast and lunch was standard and fresh. Lunch also had some a la carte options (that were included with the All Inclusive plan). Dinner was always sit down, no buffet, a la carte options for a 4 course meal. Make sure to get a reservation for dinner in the morning - prime spots (7 PMish) fill up quickly. Not much entertainment at night, but there was a steel drum reggae band one night that we loved. There's 2 main bars we went to - the pool bar & the upper bar by the restaurant. If you sit on the beach all day (like we did), the staff will come and take your drink order and bring it down to you. As of Feb 2020, there wasn't a spa or a gym, which is probably the only part of the resort that is lacking. There was a fitness classes every morning, though - yoga, circuit training, etc. I did a few of them and they were great. Also, there's a lovely masseuse on the beach every day for $1/min. Ridiculously great deal, and honestly the massage was awesome. I would come back to Cocobay in a heartbeat! It was the perfect place for us as a low maintenance couple who wanted to sit on a beach and relax for a week, and I'm so . Would recommend it to every single person I know. Read less

Just came back from an amazing birthday vacay at cocobay resort. The views at this resort are out of this world. Denise and kamlen made our stay extra special. Thank you guys, and the rest of the staff for making my birthday stay amazing. The crystal blue beach was my favorite, cant wait to come back. Wish we didn't have to leave!
