The accommodation was great, the food was exceptional, the island was beautiful but the staff were out of this world. Basse our looked after us (as everyone did) but he was exceptional along with Jalle who was superb with Kumar a cracking chap! nothing was to much and you never wanted for anything. Also a massive thanks to Chris the GM who couldn't do enough and of course the diving crew and fishing crew. A special thanks to Greg the lead diver on the Island and chief Dogtooth wrestler, he helped us catch a monster dogtooth and provided us with some great moments Underwater, on the boat and on the Island .. Top Man Greg you'll be missed and go down in Lewis Folk lore. Definitely looking at booking again, miss you guys and the Island already! Alle alle! Read less

Returned few weeks back from Dhigali, still having sweet hangover of an awesome stay at one of the modern, elegant, scenic beauty of a resort in white lush green jungle and eye soothing turquoise lagoon! Spacious rooms with symmetrical interior decor and the food A la carte was beyond appreciation. Like to mention the special people who amazed us with their caring, kind and joyous treatment, making us feel at home away from home in true sense. One feels like family caring. The Manager Mr Christian and Hassan spoiled us through their great team and deserve all our thanks from heart! Hadi at Batuta with his magical hands prepares the tastiest oriental cuisines, Idris, Jagannath spread the aromas too in their cuisines. Aunty Natti with her maldivian home like dishes and smile impressed us. Jinna, at reception and as assistance for guest relationship never left any problem or demand unsolved, Salim,Randy, kumar best in serving us at redtaurents. Jem is a real gem at cafe and sunset bar together with Ruvan and Sampat smiles and friendly times at Hali made us feel comfortable. Gusti's massage should not be missed as she heales the year long pains on body points at Spa. Shammy showed us Manta and para-sailed us.. one of the experienced water sports team. So, this is just 25% of bliss and devoted staff whom I mentioned, best you get when you are there... many times our silence became our praise as words were not enough! Thanks to all and cant wait to repeat the resort! Read less

I cannot fault this resort from when we met by a Dhigali rep at Male to when we were back at Male for our return flight. Accommodation: We did 6 nights in a water villa and then our family joined us for the second week and we were both in beach bungalows. I couldn't say which I preferred but if pushed, the bungalow for the outdoor shower and semi-outdoor bathroom - feels very tropical! Restaurants: the resort was fairly quiet when we were there (just opened after refurb). Buffet breakfast - fab choice and freshly cooked eggs to order. Lunch - you could order pizza, go to the buffet or cafe or a la carte at Faru. All were lovely. Dinners - I booked ours ahead of going (approx 3 weeks). Dhigali are very responsive on email. Choice of 3 a la carte restaurants - couldn't pick between them - all outstanding and plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout the resort - could not do enough for you but without being too overbearing. Excursions: Glass bottom boat is included - amazing! Not like the ones you associate with Spanish hols! There is a choice of Dolphin cruise or sunset cruise - I would recommend the dolphin cruise as you can see the sunset every evening from the Haali bar. We were lucky enough to see over 100 dolphins on out trip. Bars: Haali bar is a must from about 5.30 pm - the setting is second to none and you see the sunset every night. It has a very cool vibe. Lots of beanbags to sit on and waiter service for drinks. You can also get pizza to eat and totally chill out. East bar is by the pool so drinks available all day. Again - couldn't fault the setting or service. House reef: Can literally reach it either from water villas or from the beach. There are lots to see and never overcrowded with other snorkelers. There is probably lots of info I've missed but I cannot fault this island. I would go back tomorrow. Read less

Absolute paradise!!! All I can say is WOW!! We came for ten days and had the most amazing time. Every single member of staff is wonderful. From the bar and restaurant staff to the room cleaners, they are all so friendly and efficient and they all work so hard. The island itself is incredible. Dhigali has it set up beautifully, with a shuttle buggy that circles the island in case you don’t want to walk. You can keep a track of it on their fantastic app. The WiFi is great and you can access it all over the island. There are 3 restaurants for your evening meal, Battuta, Jade and Faru which are all incredible. You are encouraged to book these places on the app to ensure you get the time you want. The choice of cocktails, champagne, wine, spirits and beers is fantastic. There are 2 bars on either end of the island, both are fab. The Haari bar has a sunset DJ on from 5.30-7pm playing fantastic tunes whilst the sun goes down. We had many cocktails watching the beautiful sunset over our 10 day stay. The DJ then moves over to the other bar, East, and plays until midnight. We were able to watch the Euros whilst we were there on the big screen at East bar. Even when the matches were on at midnight (due to the time difference in Germany) the staff still served drinks and happily stayed until the end. I had a 2 hour treatment in the spa which was AMAZING!! I felt so wonderfully pampered afterwards. We are gutted to have to leave the Dhigali bubble and will return! Read less
