The hotel

This lush resort is blessed with amazingly colourful coral reefs, a fine white sandy beach on one side of the island and a turquoise lagoon, making it perfect for those seeking unspoiled surrounds in which to relax. Where is it

In the northeast of North Ari Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 30 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person), or 1 hour 30 minutes by speedboat. Please note: seaplane transfers to/from your resort will only operate in daylight hours. Speedboat transfers are more economical, are available during daylight hours (except May-September) and are weather dependent. Please ensure your international flights into and out of Malé allow for these schedules.

Hotel information

112 rooms and bungalows. All with terrace, air-conditioning, satellite TV, complimentary, telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, safe, hairdryer and iron. Standard Rooms are located on the island, open out onto the gardens and have outdoor showers, with 1 king-size bed, plus extra bed on request, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Standard All-Inclusive package: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus selection of local snacks served between 10.30am-11.30am, 4.00pm-6.00pm and 10.30pm-11.30pm: unlimited regular house brands from a a selection of spirits and wines (served by the glass only), unlimited cocktails and mocktails from a select menu, selection of draught beer, selection of carbonated soft drinks, canned fruit juice, mineralised water plus teas and coffees at all outlets. Access to gym, badminton, tennis, squash courts, table tennis, billiard, snooker, beach volleyball and football (equipment included).

Virgin All-Inclusive: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in allocated buffet, plus morning, evening and late night snacks. Local and premium branded spirits, wines and cocktails, fresh juices and milk shakes, still bottled water, and tea and coffee. Plus one seafood grill or steak dinner at the the table (once per stay), a platter of chocolates in room on second day and mini-bar including soft drinks and beer (replenished once daily). One dolphin watching excursion per stay. Use of fitness centre, badminton, tennis courts, table tennis, snooker and squash.

Premium All-Inclusive package: includes all inclusions of the standard package plus a welcome bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, in-room mini-bar stocked with beer, soft drinks and selection of snacks (replenished daily), premium international brand spirits wines and cocktails, unlimited fresh juice and mild shakes, 2 complimentary excursions from selected list - per person per stay (weather permitting), invitation to 2 special themed party events organized by the resort, one special dinner on the beach with the option of a mixed seafood grill or steak, 1 x signature 60 minute Balinese spa treatment at Chavana Spa for stays under 14 nights, 2 x signature 60 minute Balinese spa treatment at Chavana Spa for stays between 14-20 nights. Turndown service every night.

Please note: outside the hours of 00:00 to 09.00am any food/drinks consumed (regardless of AIl-Inclusive package booked) will be charged on consumption.

Superior Rooms are in two-storey blocks (with two Superior Rooms on each floor) and face the ocean. These spacious rooms have 1 king-size bed and 1 single bed (extra bed available), sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Beach Bungalows are individual and look out to sea, offering more privacy, and have 1 king-size bed plus extra bed on request, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Water Bungalows are set on stilts over the water, with private deck, and have 1 king-size bed plus extra bed on request, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Madi Restaurant (international buffet, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Malamathi Restaurant & Bar (exclusively for guests staying in Water Bungalows). Iruohsnee bar and coffee shop. EYZ Bar. Malamathi Poolside Bar.

This island is so amazing. Staff is very friendly especially the front office will greet you with a lovely smile and very friendly. Hope that we can comeback again on this paradise. The food is so amazing the chef's is doing a good job. The beach is so beautiful

My vacation in ellaidhoo is very good.i enjoy my holiday here. The food snorkleng diving and specially the Cocktails in the main bar was fantastic. The room also very cleaned. All staffs are very good and kind. The bar peioples are amazing. Specially Nazeer Asela Jesica Damith and Naif. Definitly i will come back this island.

The water bungalows are excellent. Words cannot describe the experience. Our rooms were attended 2/3 times a day to an exceptional standard each time. The whole island resort is absolutely excellent. All of the staff were fantastic with additional mentions for Santi in the Spa who was amazing at guiding us through what packages to consider and explaining the Balinese culture. Chef Vipula was also a standout for his playful character and skill. We always looked forward to meal times knowing we would interact with him. The only negative about our stay was a restaurant attendant called Shareef. We were served by him 3 times during our stay and each time he was very rude. One time he just walked up to the table and waited silently for us to give our order. Another time he disapprovingly questioned our choice to share one meal for lunch as we weren’t very hungry. He also had one very long fingernail that looked sharpened.All staff were so lovely that his rudeness stood out more. Read less
