My wife Norma and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Hammock Cove and we look forward to going back again! We spent one wonderful week at the resort in the beautiful residence #20. I'll get to the quality of the residence later. But FIRST and foremost, I have to say that the staff was excellent! To name a handful of the excellent staff, we really enjoyed the wonderful service of Gabriel, Lorenzo, Julio, Joel, Collette, Feb, Casildo, Elvira, Troy, Andre, David, Chef Marco, as well as our ambassadors Kenya and Sheldon. Furthermore, Rosario, the resort's manager, was also excellent - very attentive and warm. Even the resort's owners were ever-present and very inviting and conversational with us. Literally, the entire staff at the resort -- in Irina's Restaurant, at The Lighthouse, at the beach, and at the many bars -- was top notch! SECOND, the resort atmosphere was excellent. This is an intimate, ~42 residence resort and as such, you get to know the handful of other guests and staff. There is always space in the resort's multi-tiered pools, at the beach, in the restaurants, in the large game room, at the pickle ball courts -- wherever we wanted to spend our time. (And they are very COVID friendly -- the staff requires masks in open spaces and there is signage everywhere to remind guests to maintain 6' of space.) Also, there's free wifi throughout the resort. THIRD, the food was excellent. Although the room service menu and the menus at Irina's Restaurant and The Lighthouse aren't particularly ample with choices, the menus at each of the restaurants are revised each day and each item is exquisitely made to our exact request and with fine quality. Kudos to Chef Marco Festini and his staff. In SUMMARY, we truly recommend this resort to any couple -- whether on your honeymoon or celebrating decades of marriage bliss. Hammock Cove is an excellent oasis of quality service, facilities and dining. You will not be disappointed! Read less

We stayed here for 5 nights in August before moving across to the Southwest side of the island for a split stay on the island. Where do I start! We cannot praise this resort enough , from the cottages, to the staff. It was all superb and I said I could have stayed there forever! We flew in on the 2nd BA flight from the U.K. since lockdown lifted. The resort has a very relaxed vibe , unpretentious, which is exactly what we like whilst we are on holiday , yet with the classiness and attention to detail, of a top world class hotel. You felt private and allowed your own space, yet within minutes you could have whatever you wanted courtesy of the mobile phone they provide you with when you arrive to phone the Ambassador . We don’t usually like the whole ‘butler ‘ concept at hotels , but this was a complexity different and arranged very well, as the staff had their own areas of expertise and wanted to do their job to their best ability, with pride taken in their roles and outstanding attention to detail. I can’t remember all their names, but a special thanks to, Sheldon, Mark, Marvin and all of the others , for all their hard work. The owner of the hotel came to see us into our taxi on our departure to thank us for staying with them, lovely touch , and rare. The accommodation- I have posted a picture of the cottage and it really was stunning. The views from the plunge pool of the Atlantic Ocean was the best view we have ever had on any holiday . You woke up to that spectacular view every morning , heavenly. The rooms were huge, bed was comfy and we had plentiful of both bathroom towels and beach towels scattered throughout the area for ease of use. They had pretty much thought of everything to make your stay luxurious yet very private. Food- you have the Bisro for casual dining and the Lighthouse for a la carte service and food. Both were excellent. We also used the in room dining often and the humous and pitta is the best we have ever had offered at the bistro. All the food was delicious and the breakfast was so good with really good quality ingredients used. The Walters were all very genteel and beautifully mannered , and you this is what makes this hotel stand apart, from some of the more known 5 star chains worldwide , as I can see they have specifically chosen the right person for the right job throughout the hotel. They all had beautiful manners and you felt like they wanted you to ask them for help do they could perform their jobs and ensure you were happy- make sure you keep them all secure in jobs and use them don’t be afraid to bother them. Beach and cascading infinity pools- both were lovely and relaxing with comfy loungers and just the right amount of music played and space around the loungers on both. Excellent service from the beach bar and the water sports on offer that we used. When we arrived at our 2nd hotel , after an hour my Fiancé said ,’ take me back to Hammock Cove!’. I think all the Caribbean islands could do with a Hammock Cove on them. It’s just such a shame that Covid is impairing people’s ability to visit here. Antigua- First time to Antigua. We have travelled to Barbados, St Lucia, Cuba, and I wasn’t expecting to much from Antigua but I was wrong. The island is stunning and very elite , and classy. We absolutely loved it! I would come back. It’s a very laid back, relaxing island , filled with the loveliest polite people. Read less

My wife and I decided to book a last minute Honeymoon at Hammock Cove. We couldn't have had a better experience. With the COVID restrictions we were limited on places we could travel to, and even though we booked it a week before, we both agreed that the experience exceeded our expectations. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by our ambassador Daryl. Right away we knew we would be in good hands. He was just one of the many staff members that made our stay special. If your going to Hammock Cove, ask for Daryl. He went above and beyond for us and even set up a private lunch to taste a local island dish with the Chef at Irina's. Julio down at the beach bar literally brought our drinks to us out on the floats, and had the same energy and smile for you everyday. David down at the Rum Bar was awesome and made some very strong before dinner cocktails. The staff at the Light House became like family. We had dinner there every night, and the menu and food was better each night. Chef Chris is a very talented guy. The manager Troy and his crew were unbelievable. We looked forward to spending time at the bar every night with Collette, Andre, and Joel. Joel is more than a bartender, his drinks were perfectly crafted and even though he wouldn't give them names, each one was better than the next. We made life long friends and cant wait to go back to Antigua. Weve been to many places and Hammock Cove was the only place my wife and I were truly sad to leave. Weve already recommended Hammock Cove to numerous friends and family. Our pandemic honeymoon was even more special because of the crew at Hammock Cove. Read less

The island is simply beautiful everything was wonderful, our villa and the plunge pool is FANTASTIC!!! The staff was great, Taj, Lorenzo, and Sheldon, etc. Margaret and Alex took excellent care of us. Our minibar never ran low!! We did a couples massage that was fantastic, Elizabeth and Marilyn have magical hands. I would recommend the Pink Panther tour, our tour guide Joy is really good. This is the perfect place to escape during this stressful and uncertain time in our lives. Everyone adhered to the social distancing guidelines. This was both our first time to Antigua and this resort did not disappoint us. We will definitely be back. Read less
