If you are looking to be with nature and a low key hotel environment then the Hawksbill is the perfect place. The new management has done a very good job with all the upgrades. Lastly I cannot say enough about how friendly all the staff are from the front desk to the ground keepers and everyone in between. We will be back.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, it was very clean and tranquil. The food was amazing, and the drinks were made very quickly and tasted exactly as expected.
My wife and I came to Hawksbill for our honeymoon. Had a wonderful time and will be sure to make return visits on anniversaries!

Hawksbill Resort is set on four beautiful beaches. Some of the rooms have been remodeled, but many are still in need of some basic upgrades. The Royal Palm & Honeymoon Cottages are very secluded but are on beaches that are little rougher and rockier. Grape Beach, in front of the Beachfront Cottages & Seaview rooms, is the calmest of all four beaches. And of course, we can't forget to mention the Naturist area on Eden Beach. The property offers kayaking, catamarans & paddle boards.
The staff were all outstanding. To add to the experience, there are several animals, ducks, cats, goats, birds, lizards & pigs, etc., that roam the resort. The landscaping is also a work in progress. When first pulling up, the resort appears tired & worn, but don't let that be discouraging.
We stayed in Beachfront Cottage #66. It was an end unit, directly in front of
Grape Beach, with incredible sunset views. The furniture was newly sanded down but not completely refinished. The bathroom was in need of a refresh but was functional. The toilet was up on a very small platform. It was necessary to ask for a step stool, to use it. There are no TVs, which we feel is a plus. The biggest concern with the cottage, overall, was there were many open gaps around the windows & doors that allowed pests to get in and cold air to get out. This could easily be rectified by adding some weatherstripping or caulking. We actually brought our own door draft stopper, that we put under the French doors to keep out the bugs.
We had seen many negative reviews about the food, however we found it quite good. Better than many higher end resorts we've been to throughout the Caribbean. The food appeared to be mostly, locally sourced. The Chefs clearly took pride in their work. They have added a cappuccino/espresso machine, which made delicious coffee. I think our only complaint was that coffee was not available until the restaurant opened & we are early risers. We did bring a French Press to solve for that issue. though it would have been nice to be able to have a pot of coffee delivered to the room or at least available before 7am.
Entertainment was good. The fire dancer was fantastic.
If you are looking for a 5-star resort experience, this resort is not for you. If you truly want a quiet, unplugged getaway to just reset, then Hawksbill is the absolute perfect location. Unless, prices increase dramatically, we plan to return every year and have already booked for 10 days in 2025.

We had a wonderful stay at Hawksbill in April 2024. If you are looking for peace and quiet with no distractions from having a relaxing holiday then this is the place for you. As ever at all inclusives there are staff who will do all they can to ensure you have the best time and really make a place and then there are others who do not have the same sentiment but there are more positives than negatives! Trip sellers on the beach are a little full on but we told them a firm no and never heard from them again! We were in room 137 and had a perfect view of the sunset. Only other gripe would be that the furniture (ie cupboards/wardrobes) were very old and tired and would benefit from an upgrade.
