The hotel

A contemporary hideaway, the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall occupies a prime location, nestled between Jamaica’s famous Blue Mountain ridge and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. An adults-only retreat offering "Service from the Heart!", the atmosphere is gorgeously laid-back, ensuring plenty of rest and relaxation on the agenda. The private beach is nearly a mile long with swimmable coves to be alone in. All the usual sporting pastimes are on offer including beach volleyball, tennis, and basketball. When the day fades, there are restaurants and bars galore, not just those belonging to the Zilara but to the family friendly sister hotel, the Ziva, as well, offering 14 distinctly different restaurants to choose from. Feast on cuisines from all around the world, including French, Pan-Asian, Italian and Caribbean.

Hyatt zilara is a nice property with really great staff. Went for a birthday trip for a week and all the staff I came across at the front desk pool and bars were awesome! The only downside about this property is AC is not working properly. Literally moved 3 different times to try to get a room with better quality AC and finally settled with one of the cooler rooms with an added fan. It does smell slightly like moldy basement but not to crazy. Some restaurants are lacking and don't have as much options as they used to when I was here a couple of years ago. I think they need to step it up for the prices people are paying for this hotel. Read less

Even though we got the basic room it was like heaven. Bathroom was amazing. There was a swing and couch on the patio. Beautiful to walk around.entertainment was good i just wish we had more nightly shows, but we did engage in dancing which was led by the staff to teach you jamaican moves. Food was great at the buffet and pool food area cant wait to go back! We were so enamored we ended up joining the iberostar club membership for future vacations! Read less

Hyatt Ziva/Zilara is a breathtakingly beautiful property. I keep wanting to come back for the view and the beautiful and relaxing beaches.It has the potential to be awesome vacation spot but it needs a over all improvement on a few areas
