The hotel

Offering a laid-back atmosphere with authentic touches, Innahura Maldives is an unpretentious gem for young couples and families alike. All room types are set directly on the beach, just steps from the ocean’s edge, and you should get used to the feeling of the sand between your toes because the main restaurant and bar can be enjoyed barefoot too - what else do you expect with the name ‘Sand Bar’! The property has an easy approach to living, demonstrated with it’s ‘AI Easy’ package, so you don’t have to worry about ordering that extra cocktail or if you fancy a spot of paddle boarding, it’s included, even themed BBQ nights and movies under the stars! Of course, you may want to splash out on this extra special holiday with a romantic meal on the beach, or a sunset boat trip, there’s so many experiences to try. It’s true, life is better on the beach, especially when paired with good food, good company, and chilled drinks.

Where is it

The resort is located in the south-east corner of the Lhaviyani Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Hotel information

78 vibrant bungalows. All of which are located on the beach and feature air-conditioning, complimentary bottled water, mini-bar*, bathroom amenities, ceiling fan, sitting area, complimentary tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, IPTV, and complimentary WiFi access. All bungalows feature 1 queen-size bed, with 4 adjacent bungalows available for families. Sunrise Beach Bungalows are 79sqm, offering picturesque sunrise views, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Full Board includes: daily breakfast, lunch and dinner served in Dhoni Restaurant. Includes house-brand water by the glass at meal times. All other beverages are chargeable.

All-Inclusive package: daily breakfast, lunch and dinner served in Dhoni Restaurant with selected beverages included, served one glass at a time. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10.00am-midnight from Sand Bar. Soft drinks, draught beer, hot drinks and house table wine from 11.00am-11.00pm in Olhu Bar. Complimentary kayaking, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. Regularly guided house reef snorkelling transfers (equipment excluded). All other activities unless stated below. 

Sunset Beach Bungalows are 79sqm, offering picturesque sunset views, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

the place is a piece of heaven, the people are extremely kind and caring endless thanks to Karakat who was part of our exciting experience. She is Amazing! 🫶🏻 the rooms are clean and cozy, the cleanliness in the resort is excellent and the food in the restaurant is fresh and very tasty, a whole variety of different tastes

The staff were brilliant, but our experience was somewhat over shadowed when we learned the resort was closing on the 1st November our last day. This was due to a major refurbishment. The staff were brilliant, but our experience was somewhat over shadowed when we learned the resort was closing on the 1st November our last day. This was due to a major refurbishment. The resort was looking very tired which again slightly spoilt our experience. It would be good to go back to see how the resort has improved. All the staff members were being relocated to the New Resort Jawakara about a 5 min boat trip away. We requested to see the new resort and were able to spend a few hours there, it was amazing. We were literally the last guest at Innahura and we were relocated to Jawakara for lunch before flying home on the last day. Read less

Staff are friendly and very pleasant, food choices are excellent, loved our private cottage, private beach right in front of the room, very clean, house keeping is very attentive, cleaning every day and changing beach towel whenever needed, loved our open shower and toilet. But we wished there were more activities for non fishing guests, and something more to explore with reasonable prices. My sister and I stayed 5 days and nights, it’s bit boring at the end. 3 days might be perfect for us. Overall had an excellent stay. Just returned back after a fantastic 2 weeks holiday with my wife and teenage son. The resort was above and beyond our expectations and highly recommended the resort to anybody thinking of travelling to the Maldives. A couple of key points for you The island is a fair way from Male so there is an additional hour time difference from Male to Innahura The island including the small bay where you can do outside dinning is about 1.3 miles long in circumference, in case you would like to run outdoors. The food is exceptional. We really enjoyed the small intimate restaurant and dining options. Several fresh cooking stations for all meals. We really enjoyed the fresh pasta, fresh seafood and the variety of curries on offer. This really was some of the best food we have experienced at any hotel. The sports facilities are really good. The outdoor astro pitch was a great addition for us and our son there is a football on the pitch. The gym is about standard with a couple of treadmills, cross-trainer and exercise bikes. There are also a couple of weight machines and free-standing weights as well. Snorkelling just off the hotel was excellent I have read some reports that said there is not much to see we found plenty of different fish including Box Fish, Trigger Fish, Eels, huge Feathertail Stingray, Banner Fish, Lionfish and of course the small baby Reef Sharks. These were all seen off the sunrise side. The rooms are large, and we had a standard sunrise side bedroom. Plenty of storage area for clothes etc. The only trip we did was the half day snorkelling trip. This was excellent and we managed to see Hawksbill Turtles, Stingrays and a Lobster. Well worth it and a nice top up to the daily free snorkelling trip the resort offers to the House Reef. This was a fantastic holiday in October (a couple of days with rain) and would highly recommend the resort to anybody looking for an experience of the Maldives. Read less

Best stay and vacation in our life. Everything was great, perfect and excelent. Room was clean and really nice. Food and activities we are also enjoyed a lot. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Many thanks Innahura! We are just definitely recommend you! :)
