The hotel

Everyday is paradise when you wake up with views of the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in the Bahamas. With over 5,000 square miles of beaches, pools, and bars to explore, this is your ultimate destination within a destination. It’s perfect for families, with spacious suites to accommodate you all together, some even with full kitchens for those nights when you want to eat dinner alone on the balcony. The activities on offer are never ending, the water park being the pick of the bunch – and we know you’ll love the slides just as much as the little ones really! There’s also an entertainment centre to keep them occupied, with games, bowling and a movie theatre, so you can relax in the spa or grab a frozen margarita from the beachfront bar and watch the cruise ships coming in and out of Nassau. Make sure you grab a spot at the rooftop bar in time for the sunset, definitely an instagram-able moment.

Margaritaville in the Bahamas was an amazing trip! The place was beautiful! Our room was stunning with our large balcony, the views were breathtaking and the beds were comfy. The resort was perfect for my 6 year old who enjoyed the pool, the slides and the beach and also perfect for my 80 year old mom since the resort was not to big, everything was close for her to walk to and the bay was easy for her to swim in as well since the water is calm. Everyone was so friendly there. .There were a couple workers that were so extremely helpful and kind that stood out to us. Happy and Avrind were amazing bartenders that made sure we had the best drinks, gave us great advice on the island and went out of their way to get us certain foods delivered to the bar. Their service was outstanding! Lakeisha was truly beyond AMAZING with her helping us at the beach and pool that we made sure to sit where she was working each day. My 6 year old son enjoyed her that he even went to see her on excursion days just to say hi. She paid attention to him and played with him on the beach and made him feel truly special. She is the best!!! Definitely ask for her when you are there! My son said he wants return back here next vacation which I agree since it was amazing. I definitely recommend this resort! Read less

just stayed here for a few days with a friend - nothing wring with the comfort of the hotel or location - just a few other issues - the NOISE !!!! the music at the pool area is far too loud and deafening so don't come here if you want to relax , even on the beach in front it's just pounding loud !! it's great for kids as there is a water slide and lazy river to float around but it is very loud and noisy - it is a cashless hotel which I dont agree with as I like to use and keep cash because if we end up a cashless society we all know what will happen ! you can only use credit cards and NOT apple pay either ! this means you have your cards etc ,when and if you go to the beach area . the cruise ships all dock nearby and the beaches are packed when the ships are in so keep an eye on your valuables ! the staff aren't the friendliest but I have found that attitude all around the Caribbean ! the rooms are lovely and all seem to have a balcony . make sure you aren't on the floors above the air conditiong unit as that is also loud ! there is an iron in the room but no ironing board ! strange ! the beds are lovely and comfortable and all the basic amenities are there ! just shame about the noise around the pool Read less

This was my first time here with my fiancé the food was great and the server Mr. Ian Williams was very pleasant and respectful and the wait was not long at all. Most of all the blackened salmon , guava rum wings and blackened chicken pasta was awesome everything was great. We appreciate Mr Ian’s service.

This took all day and many phone calls. At one point, housekeeping said they replaced it???? If so, where was it.....not in my room. Housekeeping only did a thorough job when a tip was left....if not, the bare minimum was done, floors not swept, bed not made, no coffee or water left for us. I had broken a glass on the balcony but had to leave a tip to get it swept up! My hair was never swept from bathroom floor until a tip was left. The view from the room was beautiful! I agree with other posters, this place is overrun with cruise ship people!! When there are 5 ships in port.....WOW!!! Hotel and downtown is unbearable. Read less

We had dinner at our hotel with our family. The sauce was super spicy for the kids meal and the swapped it out no problems. Great service, Ian is great! Would highly recommend this place overall for the fun and sun and food. And close to the pier to wander elsewhere too.
