In the Maldivian language of Dhivehi, ‘Lobi’ means love and ‘Gili’ means island, so therefore Lobigili is, in essence, the island of love. If you’re looking for a romantic trip for two, this is it. 68 stylishly designed villas, all with air-conditioning, tea/coffee-making facilities, iron and ironing board, complimentary mini-bar replenished daily, robe and slippers, hairdryer, flat-screen LCD TV, in-room safe, separate bath tub and rain shower, and complimentary WiFi access. All villas have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

SunNest Beach Pool Villas feature an open air bathroom, cosy veranda, walk-in wardrobe, and a private pool just steps from the beach.

Please note: all rooms have a minimum occupancy of 2 people. Single occupancy is not accepted.

All Inclusive - The Lobi Plan: includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner served at Ylang-Ylang. Selection of freshly prepared local snacks served between 4:00-6:00pm at The Swing Bar. One a la carte fine dining experience per guest per each four nights stayed at Only BLU (pre-booking required, subject to availability). One dining experience per guest per each four nights stayed at Gaadiya 17 Food Truck. Unlimited orders from a wide selection of liquor and premium wines at Ylang Ylang and The Swing Bar, and unlimited orders of signature cocktails from a selected list at The Swing Bar. Soft drinks, mineralised water, and an assortment of tea and coffee available at all outlets. Complimentary use of snorkelling equipment throughout the stay. Complimentary selection of non-motorised water sports. One complimentary sunset fishing trip per guest per stay (weather permitting). One complimentary snorkelling guide trip per guest per stay (weather permitting). In-villa minibar replenished daily with an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages along with a selection of snacks. Unlimited access to the over water gymnasium. Daily live music performances at The Swing Bar. One 45 minute spa treatment per person per stay (4 night minimum stay required).

Nest Water Villas are situated over the ocean with direct lagoon access, an outdoor shower, and a private overwater hammock.

SunNest Water Pool Villas are similar to the Water Villas, with the addition of a private infinity pool.

Ylang-Ylang (all-day dining with a la carte menu and live cooking stations). The Swing Bar (poolside bar with live music, afternoon snacks, and drinks throughout the day). Only BLU (underwater fine-dining restaurant). Gaadiya 17 Food Truck (casual dining on the beach, serving a range of exotic game meats).

This place is amazing. From the moment you are collected from the airport until the moment they take you back to the correct queue at the airport! Every detail has been thought about. This place is amazing. From the moment you are collected from the airport until the moment they take you back to the correct queue at the airport! Every detail has been thought about. Our hostess, Mechelle, was available to us 24/7 and nothing was too much trouble. The resort is so beautiful. No cars just golf buggies for guests if requested. The staff mostly get around on bycycles. White sandy paths, gorgeous vegitation and of course crystal clear water. The food at the resort is spectacular. The main dining room Ylang Ylang has so many choices that you could never get bored. The under water restaurant was wonderful but our favourite was the food truck on the beach. It was probably the most romantic place I've ever been. Tables on the beach, small venue, airstream type van converted into a kitchen, acoustic guitarist and lady singer and the food was fabulous. I also highly recommend the 5 course lobster dinner which is available at this venue. The SPA treatments and staff were fantastic and the setting for the spa is so tranquil. We stayed in an over water villa with pool and are so glad we did! Plenty of room to sunbathe and then cool off in the pool and at the end of the day we would sit in it watching the stars. We snorkeled daily off our own deck and saw so many creatures including (sharks - every day), turtles, sting ray, squid and so many fish it was like being in an aquarium. The organised trips - reef snorkelling and fishing - were great fun and very well organised. Be ready for humidity, but we saw zero mosquitoes. This place really is heaven and we will be back. Excellent resort, peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, especially Mechelle who hosted us during our stay. Highly recommend the Spa treatments. The whole experience has been amazing. I have found my paradise here! Hoping to return next year for another fantastic holiday.

Thank you Scothy and Divya at the Swing Bar for always being there ready to refresh our drinks either by the pool or at the bar. Weather: HOT, rained a few times late night and once early morning. Usually partly sunny or cloudy but overall weather was nice all eight days. Accommodations: Stayed in an over water villa with pool, fantastic view of the Indian Ocean and sunset, bathroom is unique because it is open air, views of the sky above and the ocean under the villa. Watched a shark swim buy one morning while in the bathroom. Plenty of room in closet and bed is comfortable. Food: Main restaurant is great from breakfast to dinner always something good. One side of the restaurant had Indian cuisine and the other side had various other international dishes. Always a wide variety of fresh fruit and desserts, and the fresh made juice in the morning was great. Underwater restaurant is truly unique it was like eating in an aquarium food was also very good as was the food truck. Overall, just a beautiful resort in a unique setting, small island in the Indian Ocean. Flight from JFK was long but worth it, 11.5hrs to Doha Qatar then 4hrs to Maldives, return flight was 4.45hrs from Maldives to Doha then 14hrs from Doha to JFK. If you ever get a chance to visit the Maldives do not pass it up it will give you memories and pictures of a lifetime. Just cannot say enough about this resort and trip.
