Adults only but I did see children walking around the pool area and the Jerk beach bar. This hotel was fun had various restaurants around, some had to be reserved and some you had to be dressed appropriately to get in. Depending on the staff and their behaviour towards the nationality of the person. Most people had shorts on as the temperature was above 28 degrees and the hotel is surrounded by water and pools. The mature black lady at Route 66 restaurant refused us inside the restaurant and made us site outside as we had on shorts but a white couple got in with shorts. It's a shame that some people are still judgemental in 2024. Is white people shorts different from black people shorts in Jamaica ??? Apart from the discrimination the hotel is full of fun has a good crowd and the food is fabulous and the DJ plays up to date music. The staff on the beach are miserable but the local drinks are really good. They have foam parties, dance challenges, water fitness and great swim up pools. Rooms have private pools and swing chairs. Will definitely return soon. Read less

First off Georgette Virgo the manager was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! She made sure our stay was PERFECT! She checked on us frequently, she made us reservations for the restaurants to ensure we got the full experience. She IS the ABSOLUTE best. Our house keeping lady name Samantha was also THE BEST! She checked on us everyday, made sure we had fresh clean towels and rags, and also cleaned our room very very well. She should be the head house cleaner because one of our friends stayed on the other side and didn’t get the experience we did. The bellman Homroy was THE BEST! He helped us get reliable transportation when we needed to head to Montego Bay for a very reasonable price. He also checked on us when we passed the lobby to make sure we all were okay. Other workers Samantha at guest services, Christmas, the bartender in the lobby, Ms Hickey at the bar by the beach, were all a GREAT VIBE! The only issue I had was with the moose face lady at Martha’s Market Buffet. She was very rude and bitter to me for three days, and I have no idea why. I didn’t get a chance to get her name because she was gone when I went for breakfast the following morning. But she was very rude and gave attitude when it was not needed because we came at everyone with the same energy and vibe. But other than that the stay was a 10/10. Read less

Being honest I rarely follow-up doing the review of my trips but Ocean Eden Bay resort exceeded all of our expectations by far. We stayed for 4 nights in mid-April for a wedding. Our room was the last rooftop suite nearest the ocean end of the building which gave us a awesome view of the beach and also the whole pool area of the resort from the balcony. Our first night they held a nighttime foam pool party which was loud and a little wild but ended early enough and then I had my favorite time when this end of the resort was quiet and we could hear the waves from our balcony while enjoying the night sky from the hot tub on the rooftop deck. We were here for our sons wedding held on the beach and was one of the most beautiful experiences we could have ever imagined. The best part was meeting Daniel as soon as we checked in and from start to finish of our trip had to be the hardest working person at the resort. My wife is disabled and another friend attending also has difficulty getting around and Daniel never failed to make sure they had a ride anywhere they needed to go. Daniel seemed to never stop running from the many requests from our group of 21 people attending or made sure some one else was like I said never failed. There are so many more staff that made this a once in a lifetime. The few I can remember like Andre, Dave, Demar, and Beef always seemed ready to do whatever asked. At the Privileged pool area and bar Millicent & Kevin stood out for making great drinks like awesome Bob Marley's and much fun. The resort seemed to always have something going on at the pool during the day and up front far from us at night very good balance in my opinion. The Blue Team kept everyone partying and having fun by the pool including another Foam party during the day which got quite wild but the crowd had a blast including our group. The beach is not the greatest (water shoes worked recommend bringing) but I thought the water was the best I had experienced in any ocean and when we took the short catamaran ride (also included) I saw the clearest, bluest water ever. We found the food was better than expected from reading reviews earlier and had the best meal at the steak house our first night where I had a lobster tail add on for $40 by the way cheaper then in the US currently not funny. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I was always looking for new foods to try and found lots of choices. The Red Snapper was also one of the better meals except for the members of the party who were not adventurous so half to group left before ordering and went to Route 66 for good old American fair. We mainly had breakfast at Privileged in our building and lunch at Market place in Coral Springs side because it was never busy and had more offerings the the Eden Bay equivalent. Lastly make sure you try the jerk foods I went to the Jerk shack for lunch and had the best chicken and pork and even tried crawdads. Quick shout out to the Lazy river and swim up bar fun and quiet early in the day before the kids are up as it is technically on the Coral Springs side but still right next to our building. Another first floating up to the bar fun fun fun. Ocean Eden Bay resort exceeded our expectations because of the staff like Daniel and the well maintained beautiful resort. I will end with my one criticism and that was the numerous maintenance issues that the maintenance staff did not appear in any hurry to correct a little too much No-Worries when it might be effecting your stay. My wife and I hope we can return again someday and stay longer so can try all the restaurants and try to explore some of Jamaica out of the resort. Oh Yea our sons beach wedding was spectacular and went off without any problems again because of the resorts staff and wedding coordinator. 1LOVE ALWAYS Big Sean & Moe O the O'Neill's from Kansas P.S. I will make this short but I was perplexed by what seem to be the lack of tipping the staff by most people. I don't understand this when just about everyone is asking these days and these people work very hard for you so should be rewarded especially when going above and beyond as Daniel did over and over I know he will go far in the future. So people include gratuities in your trip budget and take care of them folks their great people all. Read less

We just returned from a week at Ocean Eden Bay in Jamaica and had a truly amazing time while there. The rooms and resort are incredible with lots to see and do. The restaurants and food options were really good. Loved the evening entertainment too. Always felt secure and safe throughout our stay. I would definitely go back again! The best part was the resort staff and people we met while there. Big shout out to Daniel the Privilege Butler who was incredible and kind to us throughout our stay. Also want to thank the blue crew especially Amanda and Demel for keeping us entertained and forcing people out of their shells to interact with one another at the pool area. Also the amazing service at the swim up bar from Cadrenna and Kevon for keeping us hydrated! The restaurant was full of helpful staff too but Michael stands out from the Steakhouse as he was always humming a song and even serenaded us with a Whitney Houston song at the end of our meal. Amazing singer! In the lounge bar Tiesha and Jason W were awesome to us all week long. Thanks to everyone at the resort for making our vacation in Jamaica truly wonderful. 🇯🇲❤️🇯🇲 Read less
