BEYOND AMAZING week in Palm Island all because of Katie and her amazing staff! you absolutely get customer experience and making it a dream vacation! The trek was quite the adventure, 2 plane rides and a short boat ride to reach paradise. 136 acres to one resort, no cars. You have the option of beach, riding a bike, walking, hiking, gym, tennis, water sports, excursions, exploring other beaches on the Island. Beautiful views, peace and serenity! Food was amazing, the two chefs and assistants are very skilled! Not one dish we would not order again. I had a medical concern and everyone made sure I was able to enjoy my week without stress. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!! We stayed in the superior beachfront room. In our opinion, the best room, fully updated! The sunset view from bed was quite the treat, as was the distance to the beach/restaurant/other amenities. My only issue, which isn’t the resort’s fault, but wish ownership could find a way to navigate with the Government is the fact the beach is public. We came to Palm Island as it was advertised to be secluded/adults only and given our fast paced/high stress jobs, we wanted a week of quiet and ultimate peace. I loved the fact there were signs at the beach reading “no cell phone, vacation at work”. Unfortunately non resort patrons docking their boats at the dock mostly ignored and we had to put up with a family that returned on a couple occasions with a child and older kids, screaming and playing ball in the water. Plus some others during the week. One couple literally stood right next to the sign on facetime/speaker with their daughter for over 10 minutes, less than 5 feet from where we were laying. The calm beach area isn’t very big, enough for the guests, but can get crowded if being shared with other vacationers/locals. We also saw another family (not guests of the resort) walking the grounds and even allowed their children to enjoy the hammocks as a swing set, as they were taking photos and the kids were laughing, even though there were signs saying “private”. Other than this little part of annoyance, there is absolutely nothing else I would suggest. Staff we MUST mention that really gave us a lasting impression: Katie (Resort Manager) is just AMAZING, her energy level and “can do” spirit is contagious. She will welcome you and see you off at the dock, brought on tears to see such a touching goodbye from a resort Manager. We also witnessed some restaurant staff waving goodbye after leaving the dock. They didn’t have to do that, thank you so much for the extra touch. Niarshair (Nia) you are one special lady, your staff are lucky to have you as a Manager. Each time I hear Mariah Carey, I’ll think of you. Johnny, such a quiet reserved gentleman, but really opened up about his two wonderful sons and love for fishing. Thank you for the martinis!! Bernadette at the front desk, you were our first hello and really set the tone for what we were about to experience for the next 10days. Thank you for the warm welcome. Olanna, will miss your humour and spice, keep shining like the star you are. John, Mr. Soca man, you are amazing at your role and will excel. Your career trajectory is looking very bright! Kaydra and William, two young shining stars that are so wonderful , you will both achieve great success. Glenford, I keep checking to calendar to see when April 12th comes so you can go spend time with your lovely daughter. You are one easy going professional gentleman and we really enjoyed your authenticity and our chats! Shaquille, thank you for the laughs and attention. Nick, you’re such a gentlemen and very professional. Thank you for the great drinks, signed “the Island Gyal” 😊. Shiba, we saw your wave as we were leaving, it really touched my heart… thank you for your level of professionalism. Hulda, what a pleasure it was to meet you, thank you for your health assistance. We also had the pleasure of meeting your husband on the way to the airport. If I missed anyone, I’m truly sorry. There is not one person that we did not enjoy our time with. Read less

From Sincia at booking to John at the bar, everything was handled professionally, and our journey to and from the island went without a hitch. Once we arrived, we couldn't believe the natural beauty of the place. We've traveled all thruout the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Belize and Palm Island manages to capture the best aqua and turquoise crystallize waters, gentle breezes, and soft white sand that any of the above places offer. Everywhere you look is surreal from lush greenery to idyllic balinese styled interiors to the graceful islands beyond. There is wildlife everywhere, both on land and when snorkeling in the sea and you are serenaded by Nature's voice wherever you go. We chose an oceanfront room and, after seeing the other options, feel this was the best value. The room was quite spacious, with windows surrounding three sides, daily stocked fridge,a large bathroom with fluffy towels, and plenty of luxury bath items. Each of these rooms has its own patio with cushioned loungers and table plus a palapa, table, and chairs in the sand sitting right at the Water's edge--what an incredible view! All meals provided many options, and everything was tasty. Guests truly enjoy socializing with each other and also relaxing in their own quiet space. There are a variety of activities: rum tasting night was especially fun, as were the crab races! We enjoyed the trip on the Yannis to Tabogo Cays, but unless you just want to see turtles, the snorkeling at the resort offers much more diversity. Note: some reviews mentioned the need for insect repellent. We brought some but never needed to use it. With all the natural beauty here,It is easy to see why so many people return! Read less

We had possibly the BEST family vacation ever. The island is gorgeous. The beach has the perfect white sand. You can borrow snorkeling equipment and water toys. Always a great beach chair available. The food was DELICIOUS. The grounds were totally manicured and lots of birds and iguanas to see. The diving in SVG is some of the best we have done. Clear water and lots of cool fish, eagle rays, sharks and even an octopus! We did a little day trip to some small islands that the hotel organized with snacks and drinks - totally enjoyed. The staff was incredibly nice! Absolutely loved them. They made our trip. We stayed in the Palm rooms which were nice. Comfortable bed and very clean. I typically never go back to a place more than once but would return here in a second. Borrow a bike and explore the island. Can’t recommend this lovely place enough! Read less

This was our 9th visit to Palm Island. Everyone always asks us, why do you go there so often… all I can say it is our “Happy Place”. There is no placed like it…. Year after year, we have a better trip. This year was exceptional. The food was even better than it has been. (And it has always been good). The service, as always, is top notch. The beach in Palm is one of the best beaches we have ever been on. It is better than Tahiti, Fiji, and the Maldives. There is no sand softer. When we are in palm we cannot wait to go to the beach and go swimming in the water. We have traveled extensively throughout the world and what sets Palm apart from others is the people. They are not staff , they are friends. They all care…. From the grounds team, to housekeeping, to the office team, the spa team (Bali girls give the BEST massages), to the restaurant team,, to the bar team - everyone is exceptional. Katie has done a phenomenal job of making it feel like home for everyone that visits. The only bad thing is 9 nights in Palm is just not enough. We cannot wait for our visit next year… which will be for more than 9 nights. Read less
